Simply put, for me?
It'd be being able to command our own Personal Task Force. Like BOffs in space.
It's something that's been mulled over for years now. I feel like the upcoming Admiralty system is some dev's idea that essentially "ship DOffing" can really make you feel like you're commanding a fleet of ships.
Buddy let me tell you something,
I'm never gonna fully appreciate being in command of ships like that until they are there floating in space beside my own ship, batteries ablaze, defending the peace and going where no one has gone before.
I'm not saying that it'd even need to be an "all the time" thing. I imagine only higher level, specific missions would call for your Space BOff team. They'd definitely not be following you around in Sector Space round the clock, either.
But for some missions? Come ON. This can be done, guys.
For me personally, and this would probably draw me back into the game itself let alone throw money at it is an actual, admiralty system where you command a small fleet of ships that you own/earned/use(d). It was what I imagined STO was going to end up being like to be honest.
I don't think it's very practical for STO mind you, as the AI is awful in this game as well as a whole host of issues with having to re-adjust current content as an example, but think of the possible revenue they could rack up if you had to equip 3 or 4 ships instead of just worrying about one.
Retired. I'm now in search for that perfect space anomaly.
Every time you get a new ship there's an optional 5 minute shuttlecraft tour of it ala Star Trek:The Motion Picture
Your pain runs deep.
Let us explore it... together. Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. Share your pain with me... and gain strength from the sharing.
Norway and Yeager to complete my set of DS9 era Fed ships.
I'm still trying to figure out the screwed up intrepid in ur sigpic
That's the Yeager.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Also, one of the most horrific Star Trek kitbashes to ever make it to screen.
It is not . Don't you say bad things about the poor Yeager. Go bully the Excelsior and its kitbashes.

Iv actually been wondering that myself for awhile. It looks like a t'liss slapped on a intrepid. Its rather strange looking, but in ds9 it looked like it had more "tail" engines? guess its the angle.
4. The ability to use Odyssey bridge on any ship...
3. More 180* torp options...
2. The ability to pick my own bridge officer seating (within guidelines and limits)...
1. T6 Fleet Science Odyssey refit/retrofit...I throw money at my screen at this one daily but it won't take it!

A retcon for the Romulan Republic storyline, in the form of a story arc in which Klingon aligned characters could depose D'Tan and making the return to traditional Romulan values, and perhaps an analogue story for Federation allied Romulans to foil the attempt siding with D'Tan and "non-traditional" Romulans.
A tactical-based Federation carrier based on the USS Geronimo from Star Trek Axanar. I would pay serious for that.
Fighters that do damage.
Be able to put my TOS interior on any ship.
A No Man's Sky style exploration system.
A tier 6 Odyssey with a genuinely universal boff slot where you can mix and match specialisations; and a hangar.
I dunno about the hangar, but I think a T6 Odyssey would be advantaged in having a decently high BOff slot to get more flexibility out of it. We could also avoid having, like, 3 or 4 different versions of the same ship floating around that way, too, haha.
Like, literally the only reason I haven't actually gotten a specialized variant of the Odyssey is because, well, I kinda.... don't like all the unnecessary versions of it? Like, that all could have been solved with a decent Uni-BOff slot.
I guess it could maybe at least keep the Sensor Analysis ability of the Science variant, too? Just to give it a neat trait for a cruiser.
More bridges for Roms would be nice - I've got some Zen on standby if the Republic gets a non-Scim dreadnought warbird at some point. Nothing against the Scimitar in general, it's terrifying and lethal, just perhaps not the tone the Republic should be setting.
Well, guess I'm shutting up.

or, a T-6 KDF carrier
And finally, if they ever would put a T-6 JHDC on the c-store.... "oh cryptic, TAKE MY MONEY!"
