Finally got the Voyager interior. Apparently it comes back during ship sales as a standalone purchase.

That's the first time I've ever heard of that. The only time I've seen the Voyager interiors available was bundled with the Pathfinder and the bundle that includes the Pathfinder and other 2 Intrepid variants. I've never once seen the Voyager interiors purchasable by themselves.

Of course, since I own all those ships it's always been impossible for me to get the interiors. I owned the 2 older ships long before the Pathfinder and wasn't able to buy the T6 ship when it was first released with the interiors. But I bought it a few weeks later, and it essentially screwed me out of ever getting them.

Edit: Just checked all over the c-store. No Voyager interiors by themselves. They are probably only bundled with the Pathfinder, though it wasn't announced that the interiors were available again for a limited time. :'(

Yeah, I bought the T5 Intrepid a few years ago, so can't purchase the 3-ship Intrepid pack. Did just buy the T6 Pathfinder last night with the interiors as a bundle.

Well was trying to decide whether to get a pilot ship or not but decided against it and probably just buying the Sao Paulo for the costume and Quad Cannons (which seems to be able to be used on multiple ships now) and save my zen up for the next ship release and decide if I want that one.

Yes. Quad cannons, of any faction, can be used on any ship that can equip dual cannons. :)

    I bought...

Command Battlecruisers Mega bundle (AHOD) - and i love those ships... Suppressive barrage III
T6 Cross Faction Battlecruisers bundle (EWC) - "must have" starship trait

Pilot Ships... they fun, but have USELESS starship traits - NO DEAL.

    Waiting for...

    T6 Defiant/B'rel/T'varo bundle
+useful starship trait and pilot maneuvers
    or NO DEAL

If they included a ship slot with a ship purchase I might consider it more often.
    <snip>

I did buy something this time around, but I've got to admit that it really would be a huge motivator if each ship I purchased also actually came with a place to put it. Hell, it might even be sufficient if they just made Ship Slots into account unlocks... like the ships themselves.

Me too, on all counts. Well, technically I'd already picked up the Cross Faction Battlecruisers the day they launched, but they were the first to grant set bonus options to all three factions and I wanted to support that design decision.

As to the potential Defiant/BRel/T'Varo pack, I think a handy compromise would be have their Starship Trait grant the ability to use Pilot Maneuvers whenever your ship's Turn Rate exceeds a certain threshold. Of course (if they go with that idea), if your ship only exceeds that threshold while buffed it can only use Pilot Maneuvers while buffed, and I think it should apply a Defense Boost in place of the damage immunity that the "true" Pilot Ships get. Personally, I'm going to have a hard time choosing the Defiant/B'Rel/T'Varo pack if we don't have some way of injecting the "fun" element of the Pilot Ships into them... and if I'm torn between the two options I'll probably purchase neither until I decide.

Fortunately, I'm definitely enjoying my current purchases... and I haven't even fully unlocked the Starship Masteries yet!

I spent almost 200 bucks the other day, treating myself type of deal. I should have waited and saved 20%.

    Ok, that sucks.

I can't even decide what to buy...Fed tac eng and sci...kdf sci...and only have $60 to spend...PLEASE HELP!!!

Save your zen this time around, make a Rom and level up instead, wait for next sale, and consider what playstyle you've been enjoying so far, or go for another style altogether so you have variety.

Rom Dreadnoughts pack as they are fun and effective with or without gear although no trait and it is very much strategic as you have to plan and think ahead of time given the slow turn rate and challenge of using cannons that may some day actually be fixed to be on par with beams, Faeht because it is intel with active arrays (specialty ship) intel seating and enhanced battle cloak but fragile, Morrigu especially if you also get the Valdore for the console synergy for a perfectly all-round balanced warbird with a great trait, pilot warbirds because having battle cloak and singularity core on a platform everyone including myself enjoy makes for a real unique experience. For battlecruisers, Vestam for Tac focus and great trait or if you don't have the Samsar get the pack.

Ok, maybe Rom's not your thing: for Feds, some that really stand out: Vesta Pack, Scryer, Eclipse, Phantom, Arbiter, or for classic looks there's a large selection that's T6 or will very likely be made as T6 soon or in the far future.

KDF, wait on a T6 BoP.

I was waiting with my stash of saved up Zen for the inevitable 20% off ships and everything Black Friday Sale. However when this came along I decided to go for it:

    Pilot Escort Mega Bundle
T6 Cross Faction Cruiser Bundle (was iconic but after a few months I guess they are not so iconic after all). ;)
T6 Cross Faction Heavy Escort Carrier Bundle
Advanced Heavy Cruiser - Resolute Class

Since they excluded the new Hestia from the 20% sale and just left it in the opening weekend 16.67% sale, that will wait for Black Friday. I equipped the Science Pilot ship on my Delta Rom (57) last night and it seems to be a blast to fly.

It's a bit disconcerting that many of the comments are "I bought ____ for _______ (fill in mastery trait here).

I'm glad about the mastery system that promotes expanding horizontally as opposed to being punished if not dedicating all resources to one ship and playstyle exclusively. It is also by design first and foremost to make sure there's always a secondary reason to get and fly a certain ship, plus it sells the ship bundles, cross-faction ship packs or sells lockboxes that offer those starship traits and consoles cross-faction, not to mention giving good reason to be part of fleets.

This isn't to say I'm happy about the costs, the endless grinds, and the lack of actual gameplay content, pvp, lack of balance, powercreep, teamplay dynamics, and bug/stability fixes, but someone made a choice with delta rising for some of that and I'm not even sure how some of that can be addressed now that it has been sold and WAI.

I'm not just saying this to justify wanting to get the Presidio when I'd much rather have the Vestam as was originally planned, but there are no T6 Rom science ships still and none on the horizon either. My main there's a Tac (even if they're better at partigens). I do like the look of this one unlike the other 2 in pack which would never be tolerated. Finally it is different enough from the other battlecruiser, Avenger/Arbiter, due to weapon layout command abilities cruiser commands and flight deck, as well as Eclipse which is practically a battlecruiser but made for stealth and speed.

I'm not sure how effective the Scryer trait is, if anything I'm having trouble seeing the Arbiter trait that was apparently fixed work with cannons & EPTW (is it broken for cannons?) but the console does seem to work well and I think it even spreads out to other NPCs in close range but don't remember for sure. That said, I'd trade it for a flight deck without a second thought. Reciprocity is the only starship trait I find to work effectively as is stated in its description.
