This is cool , First I thought that we would be able to actually design a ship, like put shapes together and actually design a ship ourselves, then get others to vote on it. But this is cool too.
(If I have to choose, Beta... for the two right now.)
Not a fan of D-shaped saucers. They look as elegant as clothes irons.
Quad nacelle placement is interesting, I like the extreme difference in nacelle sizes...still, it's not enough to make the saucer design work.
What's the deal with the mismatched engines that it seems most of them suffer from? Why do the 4 engines not match, anyway? I'm going with B, at least the engines match.
Considering some of the current ships available have differing shapes, sizes and arrangements of warp nacelles and struts on the same ship model, I can't see why something similar would happen here. So a person should be able to pick the same style for upper and lower nacelles or have them being different.
Which means we should allow for possible customization options when choosing these designs. Would be nice to have a bit of input on this as well (if not for the carrier, why not a future ship design poll?).
I really can't stand the triangular/spearhead shapes.

"No. Men do not roar. Women roar. Then they hurl heavy objects... and claw at you." -Worf, son of Mogh
"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ
"That pig smelled horrid. A sweet-sour, extremely pungent odor. I showered and showered, and it took me a week to get rid of it!" - Robert Justman, appreciating Emmy-Lou
None of those ships look that great, and tbh a good 70% of all the current Federation ships look hideous. Probably a result of the designer getting inspiration off the blocky ship designs from eve, Battlestar Galactica, star wars etc. There's no problem with those ship designs, it's just they should stay in their own franchise.
Now if I had taken digital design as a career I'd put in an application to Cryptic to take over designing their ships, steer them in the right direction for once, be like gods miracle to all the Federation fan boys & maybe redesign their worst ships. Unfortunately I didn't & I live in New Zealand so all I can do is bark...

Beta looks more like a carrier (if those 4 areas on the saucer are 4 hangar bays at each side).
In the End Omega looks like the most promising carrier design if those bright "holes" on the side of the saucer section are ment to be the hangar bay access
I originally voted for the Gamma as it was similar to the Akira type ships which are carriers in the first place and one should naturally surmise that their design path would be followed to such a logical conclusion but since it was rejected I am forced to support my second choice which was the Beta due to its more iconic wide saucer. All the "newbie" Trekies out there love the egg shaped saucers or the no saucer at all designs but it just makes me less likely to take them seriously when they claim to actually be true fans. As someone who became a fan long before there was TNG, has seen all the movies (including the two JJ disasters oh the horror!), watched every last episode of every series, and has been a truly loyal fan all my life I have to say to all of you that a ship simply isn't Federation without that iconic saucer design and I am sorry but I just could never bring myself to think of one as such without it.

Sweeping generalisation much?
For me It depends entirely on the ship. I'm not that big a fan of the TOS Connie because I really don't like the pylons being at right angles. I love the movie Connie though. Love Excelsior. Don't really like Oberth or Miranda.
I'm in two minds about the Galaxy class, it depends at what angle you look at it from... bit sometimes the neck and pylons look a little ugly.
But I've been watching Trek since I've been in shorts... and while it's true I'm more a jack of all trades when it comes to sci fi.... I still don't think you get any remit to question *anybody*'s commitment as a "true fan".
I remember in the Enterprise D tech manual they had an early concept design for the Nova class which had a really wide elliptical saucer... a different take on the oval over the circle... that looked quite interesting.
Bleh, my favourite sigma is paired with the jupiter-like ship
"Cryptic Studio’s Jack Emmert (2010): Microtransactions are the biggest bunch of nonsense. I like paying one fee and not worrying about it – like my cellphone. The world’s biggest MMO isn’t item based, even though the black market item GDP is bigger than Russia … microtransactions make me want to die.”
Beta looks like a new design while Alpha's just naother cookie cutter Fed Design coming off the same bearucrats desk at Star Fleets BuShips. Beta looks like they asked crews what was best for them. That said Gamma blows them all away.
Oh yeah are we going to have a say on future KDF designs? Given the fiasco over the KDF command cruisers I think that would be an excellent idea.
For me it goes between Epsilon and Sigma. I might as well pass as long as these designs are not at stake.
I like compact ships designs and short/small designs. They are there for propulsion, why all the different designs? You just not make things on a star ship just for the design. It is not a piece of art, just something to look at. It is there to have a function.
Dont really like any of them, none in the shootout look great, so many good designs online too but i'll go with Alpha, we have Beta ingame already whats the point.
Voted beta, alpha looks too generic and i like the wide saucer approach.
Alpha looks too generic and boring imo.
But that doesn't mean that beta looks much better, both designs look bad, especially the side view.

This ^ Beta for me, If I squint, I can almost see a Galaxy evolution there.
Plus, the four nacelle trend is really getting old for me.

Alpha is too much Prometheus. Beta is different.
I think at this stage, I'm more in favour of Epsilon, Sigma or Omega though.
