I actually liked the nacelles on this ship. They made a good call reusing them. HOWEVER, I think we will now have a new "Are you my mommy?" picture of a Prometheus T6 looking to a Presidio... I can see it now.

Now, as nice as that color scheme is, I do wonder if it can be swapped (in other words, black w/white accents). Heck, as long as we're here, there're a few other things in this vein I'd like to see, such as the ability to change the accent stripe coloration on Mirrorverse ships...

Very nice ship. I'm sure many will buy it. However I'm like the others. We need a KDF BoP. I'm leveling up a BoP captain and she don't have a good ship to use due to poor choices.

It's a vicious cycle. They don't make science ships because they don't sell well. They don't sell well because they don't make science ships (and when they do, they're TRIBBLE).
That argument failed when they released the Annorax which was selling for 500mil EC+. It's not that science ships don't sell, it's that badly made science ships don't sell. The poorly designed DSDs probably are the reason they haven't tried again.
The Annorax is an A+ science ship. If I had the resources, I'd get it and fly it instead of my Vesta or Palisade.

Wasn't the Phantom Escort essentially a T6 Defiant replacement? The differences between a FT5-U Defiant and a FT6 Phantom are pretty much what you'd expect in a T6 update, with a slight knock in hull strength. Now, I think it'd be pretty nice, and super easy, for them to add a Defiant skin to the Phantom. Would that satisfy anybody?

Yes, we really need an updated Sovereign Class model. The new Galaxy and Intrepid models look great and the Sovereign desperately needs a remake. I've been wanting a T6 Odyssey but if they update the Sovereign, I would have to consider getting that instead. The Sovereign has been my favorite ship since First Contact and she needs some love ASAP.
Captain Geko mentioned in an interview with Priority One at STLV that the Tier 6 Assault Cruiser was on its way, and heavily hinted that a Tier 6 Defiant was on its way with Season 11 (which is focused on DS9). I'm also waiting for the Tier 6 Assault Cruiser, but I'm still extremely happy to see another canon design get updated to Tier 6.
Had the T5 version and really like the concept. But since the MVAM produces useless pets that die in seconds- the actual play result is just another escort.
I was wondering when the Prometheus would get an upgrade. I'm guessing it'll be a pilot ship, but even if it goes command or intel, it'd still be a frightening vessel to face down. I would like to ask if MVAM and Saucer Sep vessels could be reprogrammed with two ideas in mind: 1- to utilize carrier commands to better control the subordinate vessels. 2- to allow the separated components to use whatever energy type is being employed by the control section.
A Prometheus ship without [Console - Universal - Multi-Vector Assault Module]. So after waiting for a T6 upgrade, we have to fork out 2,500 zen for a module that does nothing much but make the Prometheus feel canon.

Galaxy Exploration Cruiser Retrofit 2,000 zen for Saucer Separation console.
Both of which can be used on Gal & Andro, and on the inevitable T6 Andro-X for set bonuses. The basic console cloak also works on Avenger/Arbiter, and the Gal-X even comes with its own.
MVAM console costs 2,500 zen, and can only be used on Hestia. The default T5 Prometheus ship skin isn't a feature as it comes standard. The Trait and Console are made to boost its non-existent MVAM console in solo attack scenarios. Even the Command BC were recognized that solo scenarios would mean ultra-low inspiration and therefore gets boosted in such cases automatically. The separated saucer section still behaves as thought it were attached to the ship (was this ever fixed?) as the pivot point looks way too far back. Separation units were all-round nerfed a long time ago, and have no UI or controls (like flight decks at the very least). They also don't benefit from frigate and fighter-boosting traits and abilities, not to my knowledge as of yet anyways. The MVAM console was also broken for the longest time (forced stop to separate).
I seriously think they should allow us to port over saucer separation or chevron separation as an alternative for enabling MVA mode but without the console set bonuses. We've flown a T5 freebie prometheus that couldn't separate for a long time now, don't force us to put up with this all over again in the long-awaited canon T6.

Keep in mind, doing so will unlock a new hull texture and I think a costume variant if you didn't buy that when it was a separate purchase. I don't know if the hull unlocks for all the Prometheuses you own or just the kind you upgrade, however. In the end, it could be a nice extra hull for $5 at least.
