Other than that, the Mirror Universe uses the same gear that the Prime Universe uses. I don't see how there can be an entire rep system devoted to getting the same items you can buy from vendors on ESD.

I guess the idea could be to have gear that isn't so much adapted Mirror tech as having gear that fits a transdimensional theme, a bit like 8472 Counter-Command.
Other than that, the Mirror Universe uses the same gear that the Prime Universe uses. I don't see how there can be an entire rep system devoted to getting the same items you can buy from vendors on ESD.
I always felt like they should do different things.
I like the cheeky, game-tastic way they had the Mirror ships swap BOff stations between Science and Tactical.
Mirror Phasers with Disruptor procs or new "aggressive" procs. Mirror disruptors with phaser procs or new "passive/crowd control" procs.
Tier 5 Terran/Alliance ships that can be upgraded to Tier 5U.
Mirror Bridge Officers with new/different traits. Trait genetic resequencers. The DOff traits often line up with BO/Player traits and you'll notice that Terran DOffs have different traits than Human DOffs.
Tantalus Field and Agony Booth console, sure. But maybe mirror-ed up versions of existing sets.
Mirror MACO/Honor Guard sets (ground and space) with new visuals. Halter top MACO EV suits (Because the Terrans WOULD place bare midriffs above environmental protection) maybe with a bit of added Roman flare to the helmets.
Though I can see a new costume or two working here too. Halter top Odyssey (go gender neutral: it's the 25th century) and sleeveless Captain Odyssey. Though I'd go one further. TOS Mirror uniforms were backwards. Backwards Odyssey uniforms across the way...
Maybe have the Klingon-Cardassian Guard uniform as an actual Cardassian/Honor Guard hybrid.
Offer the Odyssey uniforms and KCA Honor Guard both to both factions.
An Intendant uniform and KCA Cardassian uniform both seem like solid picks. (KCA Cardassian would be Cardassian with KCA logo attached. Perfect chance to canon-up the standard Cardassian uniform at the same time.)
But I'll point out something that I've never seen anybody consider: I think Terran Odyssey ships and uniforms wouldn't be called Odyssey. They'd be called Ulysses. (Ulysses is the Latin/Roman form of Odysseus. The Terrans are arguably even more Roman inspired than the Romulans.)
My guess is we'll see a Terran lockbox with the rep and between the two, there's plenty of ways to cover all this stuff.
I'd argue to make the grand lockbox prize a Ulysses-class ship based on a new ISS Enterprise: make it based on the Odyssey but have structural differences beyond the hull color. Use Warship Voyager for inspiration. Make it a gunboat. Harsh up the angles. Give it some Star Wars-y flare, maybe an option for a grimy hull. (DS9's Mirror Universe was pretty deliberately a Star Wars nod.) Lobi ship might be a Ruv-class Bortas take-off. (Bortas means "revenge". Ruv means "justice".) Maybe sleek up the design and make it feel truly Klingon/Cardassian hybrid as the alliance has cemented.
Mirror universe? ...with mirror Gamma quadrant? Missions in the mirror gamma quadrant could be fun too. Could i even get a mirror Kar'takin for my Jem'Hadar BOFF? Now that would be awesome!
I like the cheeky, game-tastic way they had the Mirror ships swap BOff stations between Science and Tactical.
Which I didn't mind - in fact, the escort I have the most stick time in (and still use today) is a Mirror Adv. Escort (ISS Schwarze). Fun times, especially when you get the Nukara web mine/Vaadwaur cluster torpedo combo (thwip, thwip - BOOM) to work.
Mirror Phasers with Disruptor procs or new "aggressive" procs. Mirror disruptors with phaser procs or new "passive/crowd control" procs.
I see where you're going with this - ideally, Mirrorverse phasers and disruptors would have their own distinct procs... maybe Mirrorverse disruptors have a chance to lock out boff abilities for a short time?
Mirror MACO/Honor Guard sets (ground and space) with new visuals. Halter top MACO EV suits (Because the Terrans WOULD place bare midriffs above environmental protection) maybe with a bit of added Roman flare to the helmets.
Not sure about literal bare midriffs, but they need to expand the MACO suits' color palette. If there are NPCs (Facility 4028 photonics, a couple on Kobali Prime) who rock the outfit in black, what excuse is there for players not to be able to follow suit?
I'd argue to make the grand lockbox prize a Ulysses-class ship based on a new ISS Enterprise: make it based on the Odyssey but have structural differences beyond the hull color. Use Warship Voyager for inspiration...
Good idea... on a more general note, I'd like to see expanded hull customization options all around. For example, the Schwarze would look even better if one could apply a black hull w/blood-red accent stripe...
I want canon-looking Phasers with a good proc. I wouldn't mind paying the relatively high dilithium prices in the rep store for those. That bing said, I'd rather have any new Phasers/Disruptors in the rep than the lockbox, since mod-hunting in lockbox weapons is a pain. That is, if the proc is worth it, of course.
A new canon-looking quantum torpedo would be fantastic too, and makes sense, since those Command BCs/Typhoons love their Torp Spreads of Doom.
If they do make weapon sets, It'd be nice to see any weapon type option, instead of the usual Beam Array/DHC choice we've had.

Technically everything from this point forward is already alternate or mirror universe after two temporal incursions.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

you do know the rep reward boxes (the boxes you get from starting and filling a rep project) you get after reaching t4 in a rep do drop energy space weapons more commonly, right? So you would just need to do the 1 hour projects and lottery your way to dilithium free rep guns....
2km Radius Field that eliminates small threats from existence. Upon activating this ability, Mines, Torpedoes, Turrets and Fighter Pets will be destroyed (or erased from time) if they are within range of the Field Radius.

Ah... but we have the opportunity to make new flavors of things. Just like we have different flavors of existing weapon types in BOTH lockboxes and Rep. I mean... Iconian Rep gives Antiproton and Quantum Torps, Counter Command gives Phaser and Disruptor and Photon Torps... But they are not the standard kinds.

Mods, dude. If I get a weapon with the mods I want, cool. But by the time if I hit T5, I'm quite done with the lottery boxes, and want to get the weapons I want, in the mods I want. Hence why I said I would rather they be in the Rep Store than in Lockboxes to be sold on the exchange. I mean, if I'm going to ditch my Mk 14s for new Mk 12s, you bet I'm going to want to be able to choose my own mods for the weapons.
Probably some form of tetryon weapon, mirror phasers/disruptors in the lock box. I hope there is some kind of canonical ground weapon like the compression phaser rifle in the Delta-rep. I'd prefer a TNG Type 3 or type 1 phaser and some canonical Klingon rifle and maybe a melee weapon.
Also, Mirror T5U/T6 ships are a given. Maybe a Galaxy/Negh'Var/D'Deridex as a event ship to unlock those skins for the main ships and possible mirror universe fleet asset with purchasable mirror ships for fleet credits.

I think the lockbox will be Iconian ships, but with the return of mirror universe ships as the lesser ship prize.
We might see an Iconian lockbox but they'll be kind of old news very soon with that plot wrapping up.
My prediction is that they'll stay on the backburner for awhile and we'll eventually see the Heralds return with new leaders and THAT is when the lockbox for Herald ships will drop,
Mirror is going to be the new hotness in about two months and probably will be for a couple of seasons. I also figure it's popular enough that they'll be going for a Fleet Holding, two lockboxes, duty officer pack, admiralty pack, a full Lobi offering, and a rep (or maybe two) based on Mirror with supporting C-Store offerings that won't be mirror exactly but will be DS9 and Enterprise themed (maybe with Mobius/Wells tossed in?). It's one of the more iconic elements of Trek and I expect it to get a level of exposure close to what the early seasons of DR got, in terms of paid stuff. Maybe not all at once but sooner rather than later.
I think the Heralds' window has passed for now... But will return when and if they come back without the Iconians backing them.
I seem to recall all of the Mirror characters carrying daggers in the ToS episode. Perhaps both a uniform with the dagger on it as well as a melee weapon, along with dagger-fighting animations, would be cool.
But for the life of me, I cannot imagine that another set of Federation Gear shaded a different color will be as big a deal as some make it sound. This seems a very niche-oriented project, favoring some individuals who really enjoyed the Mirror episodes of the various series. I hope I am wrong in this, because it seems that Season 11 will feature Mirror content heavily.

Here's the thing: The Mirror Universe has generally been successful in other Trek games (concession: I'm not sure how that rail shooter with George Takei did) and I think it's because it has a high level of casual audience recognition. Casual viewers may not know what Species 8472 is or even the difference between a Klingon and a Romulan but they know that the Mirror Universe is a place full of evil twins where some have goatees.
I think it's one of those things that probably has higher appeal with non-fans or casual fans than with devout fans... I can be skeptical of those kind of things (in comics, I rant all the time about Superman comics made for people who don't like Superman, as I think it's counterproductive) but I think the Mirror Universe REALLY engages people who aren't into Star Trek that deep while ALSO appealing to a fair number of diehards (even though I think it appeals to casuals more).

An alternate universe/reality is not the same thing as an alternate timeline within our universe/reality.
Am I the only one who is REALLY disappointed about this?
The Mirror universe is a big pointless nonsense in my opinion, completely undeserving of the attention it receives.
I am not sure if I am "REALLY" disappointed, but I am not a big fan of the Mirror Universe. At least not in STO, not with Mirror Universe Invasions with large ship fleets and all. The DS9 episodes were enjoyable because it's fun seeing actors playing against their normal character's role.
But the MU story in STO basically removes any "character development" (so to speak) the Mirror Universe went through in DS9, and blows it out of proportions with those invasion fleets and all that.
I want to see more of the Gamma Quadrant.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

I share your view in that regard. The Mirror Universe was a clever stage for a one-off episode, but the way DS9 and ENT used it it was already dead when STO decided to make it a major point in STO. It doesn't work in that way in my opinion.
Since Cryptic feels oblieged to force recognizable content into STO it would be clever for a single episode where we see the original, now "outdated" Cryptic starships from launch make up the mirror Starfleet and we encounter a evil twin version of our own crew and essentially have a episode similiar to the original MU purpose but after that there is no need for it and it doesn't make much sense that the mirror terrans try to invade the prime universe when they have their own universe to mess with.

i can understand the invasion aspect just fine. Distance.
Distance limits the territory one can control, so that a planet 8000 light years away is harder to keep under control than one 8 ly away. With the ability to instantly travel to the Mirror Universe, (are we the reflection or the image?) there is no distance involved. You can effectively double your sphere of control without having to increase the distance traveled to do so.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the stupid aspect of the argument. Your mirror selves possess the same gear, the same cunning, and the same determination you possess. They are in every way your equal. Smart generals don't start wars with their equals because there is a 50/50 chance the other guy will win.
