I second this. Xtern1ty has become pretty well known because of its grievances against the community. I think it's voice should be heard on one of these podcasts.
We shouldn't completely stifle dissenting voices.

I do not agree, because you have complete control over how long you listen. If you want to listen to the entire thing at once, you can. If you want to listen to half today and half tomorrow, you can. Or if you want to a little bit every day for the whole week, you can do that too.

You are right ofc, but its not everyday that you watch a youtube video that's over 2 h.
Having some pointers like ~ at 31- 55 min time span we talk about the new consoles and 1:30 h - 2 h patch notes . Something like that. Just saying because I don't care about some things like lock box ship stats that I will never be able to afford. If you can understand me.

If you are listening in front of your computer, I understand. However, I download any youtube podcasts I want to listen to in MP3 format.
Last I checked, we're not in competition with P1 (or anyone else for that matter). We do shout-outs to other media outlets for STO on The SHOW, including P1 (albeit, with SarcasmDetector there). We even moved our original broadcast date to accommodate that. Some people enjoy the polished and light-hearted feel of P1, some people enjoy the raw and uncut format of The SHOW, and some people enjoy both. So long as it's a win-win for everyone, I'm good with it.
It's experiences like yours that everyone needs to read about or hear about. I am sure at least some of us can relate to what you are experiencing. Yes, it's, "just a game", but some games can bring people together to become life-long friends, or help people expand their horizons (if they're mature about their behavior), and even learn a few marketable skills for career(s).
For me, I've left bad Trek games before without batting an eyelash because they had no potential with their design. This game HAS potential, despite an aging engine. The IP and the game play potential can help make for a great gaming and social environment, drawing from a wide user base that includes pure gamers, fans of the IP, and first-timers to any MMO.
If we didn't care about it, we wouldn't invest our time and effort into trying to make things better in some form or fashion. Stories like yours keep us going. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Yes, so much to talk about though... when you have a good discussion going you don't want to cut it short.
