Does bonus skill points actually work from armada?

I do a doff mission.
It says it rewards 1000 skill points.
In the log it says 1000 skill points.
On my progression bar it goes up by 1000 skill points.
Where and when does/should? the bonus apply?

anyone got any ideas on how this is broken down etc etc
So that coupled with the fact no one has come out stating it does work, I have come to the conclusion it is bogus and alpha fleets are getting nothing.
I hope this is not so as being in a Alpha if its true then hmmmmm
First indication there was an issue: the notification of the number of skill points did not match what I was supposed to be rewarded for "What Lies Beneath". So, I paid closer attention and made a note of the numbers for "Everything Old is New".
The mission window calculates the reward correctly, but when the reward is collected, you do not get the bonus skill points...just the base reward for the assignment.
Although I am seeing the bonus dilithium calculated in the mission window and it rewards the correct amount.

I did not check DOFFing or a "regular" character, as I am out of time to play right now.

Hope is looked up soon by Devs or whats the use of the Armadas of Season 10.5
They "look into it". But since its low priority -it would be beneficial for the players to work, not for the devs/company- I wouldnt hold my breath for a fast fix.

Wait, season 10.5 IS armadas. And armardas doesn't work. Are you seriously telling me they KNOW season 10.5 DOESN'T work, but they don't care because it isn't an exploit?

I take back what I said above, it seems the amount of xp awarded is now less than stated rather than more like I was experiencing before. It is now reduced by exactly the Armada bonus xp amount so as per OP it does not seem to be working. No idea though if we even get the bonus xp for being a Vet now as well
Edit: Checked on a toon which is not in an Armada and the xp reports as being the same as my Armada toon recieved. This is showing that the mission reward dialogue is showing how much xp you should receive with Armada bonus but it is not awarding it.

Congratulations so far Cryptic. I never thought it possible but you really outdid yourselves with season 10.5.
Edit: some of the fails in advanced pve seem to be still in place as well in contradiction to your release blog.

I wonder if we'll have the same issues with the new Akira that we had when the c-store version was launched, anyone remember that farce ?.
They released the ship but they screwed up the identity of the ship and the game was reading it as a shuttle so all those peeps that bought it on the 1st day couldn't do any PvE queues with it lol.
I really wish someone would/could buy this game off PWE and get it back on track.

It’s not as if this game would not have great support from a vast community to back it up. Problem is just that the adjustments made to STO the past years as well as the quality issues that continue to mount will simply turn even the most loyal customers away eventually.
Ps. Fun post of yours. Armitage was the verry first purchace I made in this game 3,5 years ago. This online world felt a lot more fun back then.

I have verified on a Level 60 character last night....it is broken there, too.
With the verification from dirlettia that she is seeing it on an Alpha fleet rewards...I can only conclude it may be effecting the entire Armada system.
As in, not related to my Delta Recruit, and not isolated to Gamma fleets.

I think it is rather strange for a Dev to make a comment of priorities without checking what is going on, first.
This appears to be effecting the entire system of rewards from Armadas and a big part of why someone would be building one!
I would think that a system wide failure should land this squarely in the "high priority" list.

-Armada bonus you get a "-" bonus percentage equal to your armada rank
-One shot killed R&D consoles...
What else could go wrong?
I mean its not like "Armada" is the new big thing right? So why would we care about the bonus xp which are the main reason for doing armadas as a primary/alpha fleet?
