Two things i'd like to know:
1. When will they be released ( i already checked the c-store and they're not available yet)
2. Can the Klingon version use the B'rel pets?
When the Armitage came out, I suspected nothing.. but with the Alita here, the pattern becomes obvious. I can't help but wonder which will be the next in line. Votoms?
I'm thinking Kusanagi or Kosmos, honestly XD Though if they're keeping it to names starting with A, I'd have to say Arale.
That said, pet AI needs a serious and considered overhaul. As do carrier commands.
Knowing cryptic im pretty sure they will add 50k hull points to the pets and thats call a day.
They can't at this point. Pets and other separation units have already been nerfed. It was a very long thread on the old forums practically filled with feedback indicating that the higher hull HP was hardly an advantage and not in the least comparable to a player character ship which are overflowing with immunities, shield distribution, and instant hull/shield regens.
Explanation: they accidentally had too much hull.
End result: nerf everything possible about them. Ignore the broken carrier commands, lack of UI, their near-vacant A.I., and their inability to get away from warp core breaches even when recalled well ahead of time.
On these new ships: They look good, and very glad there's attention to Rom & KDF.
Jhu’ael might be a nice ship except for the problem with pets leading me to instead consider the Morrigu, but then both are eclipsed by a desire to wait & continue saving for other specific T6 ships.
While I'm excited to see this, I now have to decide if my fed that flew an Akira and the refit will switch from her pilot ship or not. I have a Klingon that uses flight deck ships but I don't think he'll upgrade to this one. Had the Klingon flight deck ship been a T6 refit version of the one of the smaller Orion ships (not that ungodly ugly giant one), I would have switched in a heartbeat.
Really hoping will see a new specialization introduced with these ships though. A flight deck or wing command specialist would be awesome!
Meow, a 3-piece set console bonus would be nice for the existing ROM and FED variants (T3.5, T5 and T6), for example FED with Phaser Point Defense, Photon Point Defense and this new Shield Tachyon console.

They might be holding back the t6 bops because they got leaked and people spread it around. Want to release some actual surprise content for a while.
The Alita, Qa'tel, and Jha'uel were also leaked and even discussed on this form, including a thread on the Qa'tel in the Klingon section of the forums, before the Qa'tel was officially announced.
I don't know why you guys are losing your guys pets so fast and so often.
I mean at Agala I've sent some times my fighters ahead to fight a cluster of enemies while I organize my inventory, selling stuff, grabbing goodies and so on, and by the time I've done that usually at least half are still alive, and that's in a situation where they're not benifiting from my attracting fire, or reactive repair nanites.
Even when I'm in a situation where I'm losing a higher amount fighters, I can unleash another wing in 19 seconds.
One cool trick is summoning up a Negh'var Warship, launch a repair platform beside it, so it gains a pair of repair drones, and have my fighters escort it, the repair drones heal the Negh'var Warship, and thanks to reactive nanites the Negh'var Warship heals my fighters.
I find that my fighters are pretty good at dodging warpcore breaches, I lose one once in a while. I don't even do the recall. When one ship dies I target another with the attack command on, which probably helps probably.
I lose fighters, but not like it seems like you guys do.
Loved my Armitage since I got it. The only ship I've spent enough on to get Fleet, and then T5-U. Been waiting for this update since a fleetmate hinted at it. Being that it hasn't been mentioned yet, and it's an integral part of my build, does the allowance of the Torpedo Point Defense Console transfer over?
Too much to ask, I know, but it'd be nice if it could use the Ablative Generators Console too.
As someone who specifically requested a T6 Armitage, Thank you.
I'm not overly keen on the starship trait(was really hoping for a torpedo trait, seeing as the Akira class had more torpedo tubes than any other ship, to my knowledge - 15), but hopefully the stats of the ship will make up for it. Here's hoping there are console sets.
Well, I'll admit. A lot of the recent ship art has felt wanting, they (especially the romulan vessels) have looked too 'cartooney' or 'graphicy,' over-stylized and too far off the IP as a result, IMHO, but the pictures for this release look, well...
Quite frankly, they all look great and, I don't remember the last time I saw a cross-faction pack and thought that.
I've noticed that, to my mind, at least one ship in a pack will be rather hit-and-miss on the looks. I know the designers work hard and I have the utmost respect for them all and their very serious talents, but sometimes art gets passed, like for the Romulan D'khellra, that I look at and wonder why anybody thought it was a good idea.
This pack, however, looks truly gorgeous. The Alita, especially, looks badass. I reckon the nacelles could be a little more aggressive, but she's a nice looking ship. I'm also looking forward to getting my hands on the raptor and taking him out for a spin.

Nice - another T6 3-Pack.... still if devs are putting ship after ship into the game and mostly T6 versions of older T5 hits, lets hope they not forget solenae science destroyers - it would make many people that put 10k Zen into game happy....
1 hangar but they also get a trait that you can use on a proper carrier.
Personally the console sounds pretty cool too, I just hope you can use it on other ships, unlikely I know, which seems silly to me.
I was hoping they would release the stats today, but nope, maybe tomorrow.
When the discription said the Qa'tel had everything you'd expect from a Raptor, plus a hangerbay, I was wondering what that meant exactly, because I was under the impression Raptors were Klingon escorts with a innate cloak, is there anything else that makes them distinct?
I doubt they come with unique pets, only lockbox ships seem to do so now adays.
Another thing on the Alita, did anyone else notice what looks like some sort of small craft on the section between the nacelles? What is that, the hangar bay or captain's yacht?
Stats will be out tomorrow, but unless the Devs want to troll us, these ships have 1 hangar bay.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
The Alita, especially, looks badass. I reckon the nacelles could be a little more aggressive, but she's a nice looking ship.
Think of the mix and match potential. There are a couple of options for more aggressive nacelles.
And interestingly, these nacelles look 23rd century. You could now kitbash a convincing 23rd century Akira ancestor although it would probably require heavy mixing and matching.
I don't look at ships for the complete aesthetic. For me, they're collections of Lego bricks.

No.
But it probably means you can extrapolate from the Tier 5 Raptor what stats the ship will have. 4/3 weapon layout, one BO slot extra, one console extra, same turn rate, and so on.
I think the Tier 5 Raptor was pretty similar to the Defiant, but it had the in-built cloak and a bit lower turn rate (more like the Patrol and Advanced Escorts.) And more hull and less shields, I think.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
My main concern about the constant releasing of T6 ships at level 50+ effectively nullifies the existence of the T5 ships that are available at 50+.
On a semi-related note; has there been any consideration given to the fact that the sudden influx of T6 ships might drive down sales of T5 ships and upgrade tokens?
Examples; Avenger (2500z) plus upgrade (700z) is 3200z - T6 Arbiter is 3000z and comes with a Starship Trait at full mastery level; same with the Armitage/Alita and Ar'Kif Carrier/Jhu'eal - the T6 version is 200z cheaper than the T5 and an upgrade token and the T6 comes with a full Starship Mastery path complete with Starship Trait at the end instead of a truncated one as the T5-U ships have.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm beginning to find myself disinclined to purchase any T5 ships from the C-Store - or any upgrade tokens for those ships I already have that are still un-upgraded - because of the distinct possiblity that a T6 version would come out under the above-mentioned conditions of full Mastery path and 200z cheaper than T5 ship+Upgrade Token. I look at the ships I don't have and I wonder 'Is this going to be the next ship to recieve a T6? How will I feel if I buy it now and next week they announce the T6 version? Should I even bother with it?'

I am sure they are saving these for the last of the T6 main lot, they know ship sales will slump once people actually get the ships they want.

Umm, cross-faction bundle... likely not Fleet level. Think 'Iconic' bundle.
Shame though, would love to have an out-of-the-box Fleet level Akira.
