Someone called this coming when the T6 Battlecruisers were released, I think, who was it?

^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...
Hey Cryptic, maybe it's time to stuff developing everything else until there's a T6 BoP out there since it's, you know, one of the base klingon classes and there still isn't even one available at T6. That, to be frank, is shameful.
I am a bit shocked to see this one,
like the users above me, I half expected the t6 defiant, kdf bop and romulan bop to have made an appearance now with pilot abilities...
Carriers are nifty and all but until the pilots of our pets we launch get half a brain and don't fly into every damn explosion on the map, I still wont use them.
I've always loved my Armitage, it was one of the few ships that I invested a T5-U upgrade token into... Never regretted purchasing that ship.
Now it seems I'm gonna need more Zen.
Edit: Also, what is with that saucer on the T6? That beasite looks mean... I might just use my 'ramming speed' ability again. Thing looks like a saw blade. Hehe
Edit 2: Oh, any plans on making new Fed/Kdf/Rom hangar pets? Or will these things come standard with Peregrines/To'duj/Scorpions?
When the Armitage came out, I suspected nothing.. but with the Alita here, the pattern becomes obvious. I can't help but wonder which will be the next in line. Votoms?
Finally.. the Akira /Armitage is already one of my favorite fed ships and the Alita just looks so beautiful. The trait and the console also sound nice.. excellent work here, Cryptic!!!

I've been looking forward to this ship, 75% for the Coordinated Assault trait, althought the console sounds fun too. I'll probably use a mix of the Qa'tel skin and Birok skin.
Would it be to much to ask for some T6 based pets for the factions...especially any new pets for the RR? Only exclusive pet we have is bound to the Scimitar...
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power

I'm thinking Kusanagi or Kosmos, honestly XD Though if they're keeping it to names starting with A, I'd have to say Arale.

2. I have a bit of a problem with the "Coordinated Assault starship trait".
In addition, each of these starships can unlock the Coordinated Assault starship trait by achieving level 5 in their Starship Mastery. While this starship trait is slotted and you activate Beam: Overload I, II or III you will allow your pets to use Beam: Overload I. Using Cannon: Rapid Fire I, II or III will allow your pets to use Cannon: Rapid Fire I. NOTE: Your pets must have weapons that are compatible with these attack upgrades in order to benefit from this starship trait.
These ships are Heavy Escort Carrier, and what do you typically put on a Escort? Cannons!
What does most Fed side hangar pets got as weapons? Beams!
So from what I see, to use this trait with the Alita, you got limited pet options to choose from.
Peregrine Fighters or Scorpion Fighters (which both are basicly/almost the same thing), or Jem'Hadar Fighters if you are one of the few lucky to have them unlocked.
Meanwhile on KDF side, almost all hangar pets use cannons, and you don't have a lot of options for a beam-boat carrier. So not a lot of options either if you want use the trait with a Vo'quv Carrier or Kar'Fi Battle Carrier then.
3. Love the look of the Alita and Qa’Tel !!!
4. Prediction for next ship is... Either a Fed Sci Ship, or a Defiant/BoP/T'varo T6 upgrade

Next is probably the Defiant pack. They don't seem to have much of a schedule anymore, but it's been 4 months since the last Iconics pack, so it's time.
We are apparently now on a once-a-month schedule for updated T5 ships, we'll probably see the next 3-ship pack of those at the end of August, and probably another single ship either mid-August or in September. That will lead up to the next expansion most likely - we can hope so, anyway.
These are mostly guesses, although information leaked about some of them and it makes sense.
Actually on the KDF side giving Elite Orion Slavers beam overload 1 will rock.
The problem is simply solves, either use the Experimental Protonic Weapon which can do both Beam Overload and Cannon Rapid Fire, have a 360 beam in your rear weapons for beam overload.
I will also say this trait ironically does not achieve its pinnacle on an Escort Carrier, where things often do not survive long enough to take full advantage of it, but rather on full carriers and Flight Deck Cruisers and Dreadnaught Cruisers.
Full Carriers because they have more pets and can equipt both cannons and beams and FDCs and DCs because they offer more protection to they're pets and because enemies last long enough for the trait to have an effect.
The Console will go well with my consoles, I have a console that boosts radiation damage, the Disuptor Point Defence Console as well, and and the heavy disuptor turret with its barrage ability. All hit enemies within 5km.
This isn't just good news for Carrier and Hybrid Carrier fans, but also for Qin fans, who have been looking forward to an updated T6 Qin Heavy Raptor which was one of the favourate Raptors before tier 6 appeared.
Its like the KDF got a 2 for 1, they get a Escort Carrier (or a Flight Deck Raptor which suggests the influence of Orion Technology, which according to the STO wiki the Borik skin already does), and a favourite 5T Raptor, the Qin updated.
I'm wondering will it get a hybrid Commander, Intelligence, or Pilot Officer seat?
I'm betting on Command, there are no escorts or Raptors with Command seating, and because unlike most Raptors/escorts, these have a hangar bay to take advantage of command powers.

Forgot to comment on this: A lot of people either run a single DBB or 360 beam on their escort builds so they can use BO with it; it's a great doorknocker attack to weaken or bring down a facing shield during a strafe attack. Besides, it gives you something useful to put in that second ensign tac slot if you can't afford Kemocite (and who can, really).
Oh and since the cordinated assault says pets, not just hangar bay pets, I wonder if the trait will work on things like the odysessy's pet Aquiris Raider, Saucer Seperation, and disposalible pets like the Scorpions fights you launch with from a device slot, or say a Phaser Turret Platform from a device slot (it'd be cool to have a turret platform fire a beam overload).
Two things i'd like to know:
1. When will they be released ( i already checked the c-store and they're not available yet)
2. Can the Klingon version use the B'rel pets?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Just assume at this point that any ship with a Retrofit/Refit will get a T6 version. No point in guessing.
I'm not spending any more (real) money on the game until the T6 Defiant comes out.

Ahem. Thank you for giving me other ships I must build up to. Appreciated.
Yeah, and this is a real problem. Come on, Cryptic!

Ship looks good. Although I wondered about the single hangar too.
Probably not, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
