Omega Graviton Pulse (ground) not slowing Borg adaptation

Today is the first day in a couple of weeks I've ventured anywhere but Risa and I noticed that the Borg (I was on Defera at the time) are adapting to my weapons a lot quicker than they were last time I was there. I instantly checked to make sure my traits hadn't wiped as sometimes that happens but they were all still there, including the Omega Graviton Pulse which usually increases the time it takes for Borg to adapt. It's the only real reason I keep that trait active when playing against Borg as I prefer my fleet weapons to the Omega rep sets these days. The trait usually makes a noticeable difference in adaptation time, which is why I always notice when it gets bugged out and stops working.

To be sure, I decided to disable the trait temporarily and right enough they were adapting without the trait at pretty much the same speed.

Character I was using at the time was Ciaran@khamseen in case you need to check him.

    Still happening after this weeks patch. Just wanted to bump as with the forum migration and down time it may have been completely missed.

    Sadly this is still bugged after the season 10.5 launch. ​​

    I've been noticing the same problem. However, I believe it is related not to the ground reputation trait, but to the mechanism of borg adaptation itself. If I remember correctly, there is supposed to be a "lockout period" for the adaptation counters that that keep a weapon from gaining them too quickly - especially when using weapons such as full-auto rifles. From my experimentation on Defera, I am quite convinced that the problem is this lockout period currently being non-functional. (Nothing else really explains the borg adapting to my pulsewave with 1 shot...)

    i don't know if this will help with the fix, but i've noticed the adapted KHG rifle still does full damage even after you get the 'they've adapted' icon under your status bar while the standard KHG weapon however still only does the usual 1pt of damage under the same circumstance.
    perhaps this will point you in the right direction :)

    This happens because the Adapted KHG sniper rifle triggers "Adapted, Phaser Damage" yet the actual weapon deals Disruptor Damage. A similar issue existed with the Adapted MACO pulsewave rifle, but Cryptic fixed that a long time ago. This happened in Season 7 when the Omega Force reputation was first introduced. The adapted sets were technically a copy/paste from the other faction in terms of stats and one very specific stat (Borg adapt type) wasn't changed while the energy type was changed. Borg Adaptation actually just applies a debuff to the player that reduces that energy damage type by -100%. You will notice that if you switch to a disruptor secondary weapon and trigger the "Adapted, Disruptor Damage" the Adapted KHG sniper rifle will once again deal no damage to Borg.​​

    Yeah, I was gutted when they fixed the Fed version of that weapon. It was so handy not having to care about adaptation haha. Though it doesn't surprise me they've still never fixed the KDF version.

    I haven't tested it but, the trait doesn't even list the extra kinetic dmg at all!!!

    Unlike the radiation dmg, that the Iconian ground rep trait does, the omega trait doesn't show any extra dmg effect to the weapon!
