Tribbles in Ecstasy Take 173: We’re so Trendy! + Win ZEN

Captain MidNite Shadow leads the crew of the USS Tribble with Star Trek Online's Community Manager, Laughing Trendy where they talk about the Livestream with Aron Eisenberg AKA Nog, the Forums and general Trek. The team then discuss the news from Star Trek Online plus updates on Nichelle Nichols, Star Trek Kickstarters and the new Star Trek Beyond film.

A competition is announced that is giving away THREE lots of 1,500 ZEN!

Competition Rules:
  1. Posts to this forum post only will be eligible for entry.
  2. Each question gives one opportunity win one prize of 1,500 ZEN.
  3. The final and third opportunity to win 1,500 ZEN is earned by simply posting this this thread.
  4. Each user will entered only once into each of the three prize draws.
  5. Answering the questions correctly will allow entry in to those prize draws.
  6. Duplicate entries will be ignored and not disqualified.
  7. Comments and feedback on the show in this thread will count as entry to third draw as it is a post to this thread.
  8. Winners of any prize draw will disqualify them from the other prize draws - you can only win one lot of 1,500 ZEN.
  9. Winners will be randomly picked from eligible entries.
  10. You must post by Midnight (Pacific Time) on Friday, 3rd of July 2015.
  11. Our final discussion on the winners will be final and will not be open for debate.
  12. This competition is run by the Tribbles in Ecstasy Podcast from Holosuite Media and not Cryptic Studios or Perfect World Entertainment.
  13. The three winners will be announced live in episode 174 of Tribbles in Ecstasy on Friday, 3rd of July that starts at 4PM Pacific Time / 7PM Eastern Time.

    Just found this pod cast, so no idea how many toons Midnight7 has, but it was interesting to hear Trendy talk about the live stream coming up Tuesday.

    About half way through, and looking forward to hearing about the T6 ships. Want to hear what you all have to say.

    Besides, why not take a chance on winning the first prize offered on the "Vanilla " Forums. :D:D

    1, I really haven't listened to TiE before so I couldn't say with any certainty, but I'd guess somewhere between 15-22

    The last number I could find (that was hard work...) was 21 delta recruits and 40 characters in total. You were talking about how you now had one of every playable species.

    It was on the G&T show, but that's all I'm gonna say. If anyone wants to confirm/prove me wrong, have fun going through those countless hours of different podcasts (Tribbles in ecstasy/G&T show) yourself...
    Edit(h) says: I accepted my own challenge and went through quite a few more recent podcasts. And lo and behold, there was a passing mention of 41 characters on TiE 168. Yes, this is 173 now, but if there was another mention in the 4 episodes in between, I could not find it...
    So, about 5 minutes before the door closes on this contest, I change my answer to 41.

    2.) The forum software is called "Vanilla" as you can clearly see at the bottom of this site. :P

    And since we've been talking about the G&T show...
