Sadly I don't have a tier 5 Nova U, just the mirror universe nova and I still bring her out from time to time in STB battles for craps and giggles.
Wish they'd throw down and bring out a tier 6 nova. Buy that instantly for my fed sci captain.
Till then, she stays in her t5u Vesta.

Hey guys, where are you getting all of this Nova history from? Books? I don't recall many episodes using the ship. I'm trying to figure out why such a cult following...is there a series I missed?!

I think I ought to mention my best DPS..an abysmal 4k in a FT5-U Tempest. Just so you know there's worse builds out there (I'm far too stubborn for my own good).
I pay very little attention to Scimitars or bioships; I hate looking at either of them and, when they explode, generally end up thinking that they're simply paying the price for insisting on using OP ships.
That was ages ago - back when scimitars were vaping everything in mere seconds, ISE generally only lasted around 1 minute 45 seconds, and pretty much any other ship present became a spectator in said instances.
I got over it a long time ago.
Regardless of that if another OP ship came around you'd probably have a personal hatred of them as well, hating the ship is fine but having a hatred of the person flying them without a second thought is a bit excessive and probably points to some underlying anger issues :P.
There are people who like the Scimitar for reasons other than it's firepower, I love the ship itself regardless of it's DPS capabilities and I still don't get a very high DPS on it anyway.

I like the Nova. It's a neat looking ship IMO, it feels a bit like the little sister of the Sovereign.

Something about you taking pleasure in the destruction of Scimitar and Bioship flyers, and and how they deserve comeuppance for flying them.
