Does anyone else think the Nandi...

...looks AWFUL? I just saw the photo and it's camper than any Risian ship ever was and is just plain fugly. There's absolutely no, "Very impressive design" to it at all.

    It's mostly "Meh" to me but whether or not it is "Good" or "Bad" can't really be decided as it would be different for different people.

    If you don't like it then you can just enjoy the other parts of the Summer event.

    I think it looks cool, though I'm not a fan of the color scheme on it. (Though that can be fixed fairly easily.)

    I'll admit it's not very attractive... Though I'm partial to the hotness of an Akira, or K'tinga...

    I will likely fly it anyway, if it's as awesome 'under the hood' as rumors suggest it'll be worth dealing with the appearance. :)

    I am simply hoping for it to have the bridge functions similar to (or surpassing) the D'Kora.

    I was expecting it to look bigger and bulkier, but it looks like a cheap toy. I was wondering whether I should bother with the Summer event this year (I hadn't before) but this ship, honestly, does nothing for me. I much prefer flying FED/KDF ships anyway.

    It is a waste of energy to debate subjective concepts. You like Fords I like Chevy. I think your Ford is ugly and you think my Chevy is ugly. Nothing either of us says will change that.

    If you do not like the look of the Nandi do not waste your energy trying to get it. Problem solved. :)
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Well... there aren't that many Ferengi ships to draw upon for reference materials. We've got the D'Kora, a shuttle, and the small 22nd Century ship and that's it. I can see some influence from the D'Kora in the Nandi.

    i did expect uglier ship. for ferengi ship she is a beauty:D

    Perfectly stated.

    And frankly, it is just another 4/4 destroyer. Like every other ship in the game, completely playable. All ships are just numbers and code with a skin. Play what you like, everyone, and don't whine until hurt. Be glad you have a race specific ship for your Ferengi.

    The Nandi doesn't look any worse (to me) than the Defiant, or most of the T6 faction ships. The real beauty is where form follows function, so if the Nandi is a solid performer, that will be its own thing of beauty... :)

    Very ugly, will likely sit unopened in a bank slot unless it has some special feature that's too good to pass up.

    Not so keen on the ferengi starship design. so it will fill up a slot in my bank,

    maybe if i ever (very doubtful) start a ferengi character he or she will fly it.

    For me what a ship looks like is second. If it kicks butt that's first and foremost for me.

    A lot will depend on how the materials/colors/patterns work on it, I think.

    The Corvette did set a high bar for good looking ships.

    Which is probably why they decommissioned the line. Newer ships just couldn't compete with it.
    This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

    In this case I have to disagree

    The Corvette looks like a dual Bread Container, and there are lot's of newer ships that are aesthetically pleasing FYI, the Fa'het, Command Cruisers, Aelahl, Dauntless... ect...

    The Aelahl does have nice lines and actually looks like a Romulan ship.

    The Federation ones are pretty much of the normal Federation blah style.

    The KDF ones... Yeah, there's a reason they keep all the official pictures poorly lit.

    There are some good and bad designs but not "all" of them are bad I like the new Ateleth design and the Qib was nice too.

    I dont like a lot of fed, kdf or rom designs. But I really like that new ferengi ship. Especiallly with that ferengi color design, hopefully we are flexible on that:)

    The other day I saw a player with a D'Kora. You don't see them much and with the new ferengi ship coming, I took a good look at it. I have to say, I don't like the design, but I thought, if fore was aft and aft was fore it would be much better looking. Same as my Garumba, if you put it upside down, I think it looks better.

    Design comes for me first. I don't use the Sarr Thein and the Kobali cruiser. Good ships, but I don't like them. I do fly a Destiny, a science ship. Bought a couple of them cheap on the Exchange. It is T5, but it looks damn fine.

    It looks like a cross between a Marauder and a Breen Sar Therin.

    FUGLY IMHO, and I'm not interested.

    I just hope those are beam weapon shots and not impulse/warp trails in the image.

    I think they have the ship flying the wrong way round. Then again, it's a 4 x 4 weapon ship, so I guess, I'' just go everywhere in reverse if it is.

    The Ateleth wasn't a "new" design. Cryptic took the ship straight out of Star Trek: Enterprise.

    Am I the only one who thinks the ship is backwards? The way it looks in the promo pic, the three prongs are pointed toward the rear of the ship (whereas on the D'kora, they're pointed forward). The way it looks now, it looks like a Cardassian/Ferengi hybrid to me.
