fleet chat / xmpp

Hi,

Since a few days I can't connect to our fleet channel anymore with pidgin. It did work well for a long time now. Also guilds.crypticspace.com dont show any room right now. Have someone else that too?

    It only affects fleet chat; the XMPP connection to public chat channels is working just fine.

    There must be something wrong on guilds.crypticspace.com that isn't affecting channels.crypticspace.com.

    Anyone from Cryptic care to comment?

    I have also run into this error, where it had worked fine for years until a patch about a week and a half ago (April 30, 2015 patch). When I go to guilds.crypticspace.com it is only showing me as registered in a Tribble fleet, so perhaps Holodeck fleets are just in a different server address than guilds.crypticspace.com?

    Haven't gotten this to work either.

    Same story - it appeared to stop working after a patch. (in other words.. it worked for me one day, I didn't change anything, and the next day didn't work).

    Either who - I submitted a ticket, but considering how long this has been broken I don't have faith they will actually tell us the issue. I noticed a mod closed the 2010 thread on "tribble" test, and then started a NEW thread and locked it, didn't even update the notes about using "\20" or "+", etc. And left it suggesting this is a beta feature on tribble only.

    Anywho0 - I'd like to think they changed it from "guilds.crypticspace.com" to something else?
    Or they modified the prefix of "holodeck!" to something else?

    I tried various modifications of the connection variables and get no connect unless I leave it at guilds and use holodeck! in the tried and true method. The result is :"Registration Required"

    Obviously I am registered *(& gold)
