The missions "Defense Contract" and "Sh'mar - Distress Signal" are missing. The mission "Defense Contract" used to be available at the Alhena System, and the Sh'mar was located near the Zibal System. See the following screenshots from before the sector space revamp in Season 10.

Sh'mar - Distress Signal

Steps to reproduce
1. Fly to the Alhena System.
2. Look for the prompt to begin the mission "Defense Contract". It should say "Incoming Distress Call". The prompt is nowhere to be found.
3. Fly to the Zibal System. Fly around and look for the Sh'mar. The Sh'mar is no longer near the Zibal System.
Waiting for a programmer ...
Comments
reach these ship spawns while your evasive is in cooldown. In fact Deuterium Surplus has NEVER BEEN MORE USEFULL and right now there is no way to get it!!!
You do realize that these were pointed out on tribble a while back, glad to see that tribble testing comments get looked at....
Any chance you could also "re-add" the attack on the federation freighters for Pi Canis Sortie Bravo/Path of the warrior as well as the deferi and breen patrols while you are at it?
Eventually. I can only do so many things at once.
You might also want to investigate why computer core fragments no longer drop in the Alhena System. The computer core fragments are necessary to start the mission "Salvage Dispute (Repeatable)". I didn't report this bug, because adjudicatorhawk said that he would inform QA about it. But that was almost two years ago, during Legacy of Romulus. See the following thread for reference:
Salvage Dispute removed from the game?
Be careful. That is conspiracy speak for "It's Klingon and thus it will never be fixed"
Eh excuses excuses get back to work. Seriously though people actually still do those? I don't think i've bothered doing those in like 2 or 3 years lol. It would be cool though if we had like a raiding mission or something for solo play or small team play where you had something similar to those where you raid elachi and heralds. Must do that with your 7th hand tho because you are not allowed to have a free hand.
It has REALLY been irking me for 2 years on what happened to it.
You mean like the tholian orb weaver T5U for kdf players who are still missing sensor analysis and were promised a fix with no time frame to go by for it?
Sure, would not want people to think that the KDF are a faction or anything by actually fixing their broken content...
Thank you. While I have your attention for a few, can I ask you to "revisit" the promise of fixing the broken sensor analysis on the upgraded orb weaver for KDF owners? If you look at the over 6 month old thread on it there have been a few suggestions as to ways you might deal with it.
Thank you for being polite. I realize this is frustrating but please refrain from hijacking threads about other topics.
I don't work on starships nor would I have any idea where to begin. This will be up to our ship systems designers.
To give a little insight, in addition to having various teams (content, systems, environment art, ship art, etc.), individuals within those teams usually have specialties. Most team members have some degree of general training across the discipline, but some things require very specialized knowledge. Starship stats are one of those specialty areas and only a few designers are privy to those inner mysteries.
I am unusual in that I do both systems and content. The price for this is that I generally do not have the full suite of specialty knowledge for certain highly specialized systems or content, such as making starships.
EDIT: To end on a lighter note, yes, we do know about the issue, but that's at the mercy of when we have time for one of the starship specialists to address it.
I have a feeling it might be intentional, because of the revamped deep space encounters and red alerts, but the Borg cubes that used to float around the Gamma Orionis sectors are also missing. They had a daily mission for some Omega marks.
Most excellent news, thanks ever so much!
Does this include fixing the crashout bug for Cold Comfort's Dilithium mine mission?
First- Thank you for being the first dev since January to say anything about this and at least respond to our queries
Second- Why fix code when you can hit "send." You could just use anyone to mail us a replacement orb weaver box that has already been repaired. There are a handful of folks that have continued to voice displeasure over the amount of time (over six months) this has remained tabled for a later date. Y'all don't have time, we don't have what we paid for. Mail them and done. Can't be that hard.
Say' ha' ngech@jackmorgan1149
Mail and done.
Edit: Thank you for getting after these missions.
Just read the release notes for tomorrow and noticed that Sh'marr, Breen & Deferi patrols, and Ocampan freighter are all back in, thank you. Now what happened to the federation freighter raid for Pi Canis Sortie Bravo? That should have been basically the exact same fix as any of these others, so why was the ball dropped?
You are surprised? lol. I'll cut the guy some slack, but will not be happy if it's not fixed by next update cycle for next thursday. I know a lot of players dont do them anymore but the fact is that it's KDF content of which we guard jealously. Would be nice if they updated it though to change the enemy now that certain events have taken place don't want to spoil for anyone not caught up. But it seems Raids on the herald or elachi installations would make more sense and it can be opened up to all factions.

Second, I just finished submitting an update to put the Federation freighter group back in the Xarantine sector.
CHILLLLLLLLLL
Condescension will not earn you more respect, while following through on your word will. I have been "chilling" for 5 and a half years now waiting to see a bit of fair treatment (not equal, just "fair") for the KDF playerbase from your end (devs in general, not just you), and I'm sure I will never actually see it, but I do try to be optimistic about it. Do I occasionally get frustrated in the process, especially when met with patronizing remarks? Sure. So remember this the next time a player gets angry and is not polite to you in return. You reap what you sow. If you like, I am sure I could find quite a few (of the remaining) KDF players to enumerate the many hollow promises we've been givien over the years. Talk is cheap Mr Heinig.
