What is the Arc Client?
Install Arc

Errorless crashes...what gives?

I am running a gaming comp with a crappy OS (Windows 7 Professional) til I can get a better version....
My Display Adaptor is an AMD Radeon R9 200 series
I have a 1TB HDD (300 GB free)
Neverwinter works just fine on PC, (no crashes) but crashes on my Xbox One all the time.
Star Trek Online: :/ the worst time I've had in a long time. Glad I unsubscribed.

When the game auto detects it sets all the graphics setting to max...but when it's on Max the game crashes every 5-10 minutes. I switch them to low and it crashes every 30 minutes.

What has me irritated to no end is there is no error messages nothing, just a simple CTD and nothing I can do other than restart.

I've tried running it through the ARC app (game wont even install from their site), sent in a ticket which should have been answered by now and not so much as a peep...To play it at all I have to run it through Steam and not that long ago this game would run error free with no issues but now I have this? Are the devs aware of people with this issue?

Has anyone figured out a fix for this? I dont think the devs will ever respond to my ticket

    Hi there.

Do not know if you have seen the AMD posts? None the less... You can try a rollback to 12.1 I think. -You can find it in one of the other threads. It's an AMD TRIBBLE up and STO suffers.

Comparing STO and Neverwinter are dumb (don't take it personal). -It's two different engines and cannot be compared even if it's just because it's the same developers and the same company that owns it.

But... considering that you can cause the crashes to appear less by altering settings, would suggest you have some issues on your end as well. Though take a look through the above and try a rollback. -Check your hardware any way. Cannot hurt to make sure the Graphic card sit in it's socket correctly. Or the Pin's for that matter.

    Just a suggestion..
If you post specs, what is a good thing, do like this:

    ASUS Sabertooth Z87
    Intel i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz
Cooler Master Seidon 120V CPU cooler
    Kingston DDR3 HyperX Beast 8GB (2x4)
    ASUS GeForce GTX760 2GB DC2OC
    Samsung SSD 840 PRO series
    Corsair AX 860 PSU
    Windows 8.1
(Wrapped in NZXT Phantom special edition Black/Orange full tower)

The more details, the better. But this would do. (Even if the specs are pure TRIBBLE, it's better to know that.)
