We need missions on the Kuvah'magh primarily known as Miral Paris. Like the Iconian Invasion has to be the permanent peace between UFP and KDF some how in some way.

    "We can do it"
We can all join the battle
    Help the war effort
    Serve the Empire

*The translator apparently threw their hands in the air here and did their best to write effort (in English) with a writing system that lacks F :P
Either that or they had Bing set on pIqaD.

It's not complete Dap, but I think I can have a go at improving it.

    " wIta'laH !"
    ghob'a' wImuvlaH
    jo' veS yIQaH !
    wo' yItoy' !

I've substituted "battle" with "great battle", and "war effort" with "machinery of war" in lieu of anything better. "veS" on its own would have been fine. This translation can likely bear improvement - I've only been learning tlhIngan Hol out of curiosity in my spare time, but using Bing will rarely give you the best result. Nice thought though; I do like these posters.

If Cryptic want a hand with translation in the future I don't mind having a bash at it.
    (Hint hint.)

    Thanks for that.

And I believe trendy said she was working on adding all the posters to the art section on the website. I hope when she gets well, she'll be able to get back to that and finish it.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

I'd actually like to find the proper images of all these new Iconian War and Propaganda Posters. I'm thinking of having a few professionally blown-up and turned into actual Posters. They'd look great!

Your propaganda poster artwork is absolutely brilliant of late.

Btw, all of these posters were crowdsourced from the Dev Team.

The Rosie the Riveter poster in the above article was painted by one of our Enviro guys, Keenan. Others came from all over the team, not just from artists, but designers, producers, QA, etc.

well it does stand to reason that not all orion females have the same body type, if they did that would just seem odd haha, that said they also rule the orion civilization so I guess they went with "you dont have to be thin and wearing nothing to be a leader" - which honestly is a nice change haha
Which is kind of ironic given that sexuality and seduction is normally standard to Orions (though there is that hilarious disconnect that male Orions are often just a bit rotund rather than American Gladiator buff among their NPC forms).

But what's her name? What is the Orion equivalent of Rosie?

Why don't we try Melani the Gamma Welder.

So, are we ever going to see a means of gaining iconian marks that doesn't involve PVE queues? As someone who does not/will not play pve's, it'd be nice to have an alternative.

Or are we going to see the continuing trend of punishing players for not wanting to play certain content? >_>

There is, it's just rather limited: two of the open missions on Kobali offer a choice of Delta Alliance or Iconian Resistance marks at completion (the 'first time of the day' bonus also grants you one of the the associated elite marks). PvE, certainly, but it's not PvE queues.

Actually it's more likely that the "ancient gods" were the Hur'q
    http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Hur%27q
    http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Hur'q

Actually, if you look into Klingon Myth and Legend. It's stated that the First Klingon rose up and killed the gods who created him. Once he died he was thus cursed to man the Barge of the Dead for all eternity. The Hur'q on the other hand are not and afaik never were considered 'gods' of any sort. Infact I think the name 'Hur'q' literally means 'outsider'.

Would rather have something for space... Only thing I like less than PVE queues is ground combat, especially on kobali prime. >_>

I agree on preferring space, to be honest. I guess the best thing to hope for is that Cryptic does an 'evolving war' thing and adds in an excuse for a space zone or Iconian marks from an existing zone later on.

    Yep:
    "Kling on to our future!"
"If your life were an opera would someone sing it?"
    "Man the gates!"
"Hold the gates! This far no further!"
"It's up to you to save the universe! Buy Ferengi war bonds!"
"Friend or foe? Vigilance means victory!"
    "Obey!"

    And that's awesome!

Heh, neat, our Bridge Officers get Tales of War too.

It's interesting to think that the ancient Klingon gods may indeed have been Iconians, while Humanity was still evolving from apes, learning to make fire and stone tools, etc. The age of the Klingon species isn't something that is ventured into all that often, nor the Vulcans and Romulans. Really, we human are the children of the universe... young and idealistic, but lacking the perspective that comes of age.

I wonder what lies in the forgotten past of our elders, eh?

The Library at Alexandria was burned, I wonder what history we lost there. Not to mention the melt from the last ice age (Iconian Age? if they can build a Dyson and Risa has weather control, wjo says that much Ice is beyond Iconians?) might have set a major technical civilization back how far? We may be older than we think but held back by a major illness?
The Universe is a messy place, You are born a mess. Sustaining life usually involves cleaning up messes. You die and usually are a mess then too. All of these messes usually involve some blood- get over it.

The Kobali-Vardwarr conflict seems like its based on france vs. germany in ww1 and that this is ww2. can't wait for korea and vietnam!

Time travel and glass-cannon ships hurt my head and is NOT what Trek is about. Trek is exploration, becoming better as a species, and gaining scientific knowledge while holding on to the traditions that got us where were are.

We should have a contest for a Tales of War based on a character someone has. Kind of like literary challenge.

I am working on mine right now. If anyone has a story to tell its the Romulans, doesn't anyone think that the Galactic Community might think twice before allowing them to join against the Iconians when in fact we know that the Tal Shiar and even some in the Star Navy were the reason for why the Iconians came back on the scene. I mean when we first met T'Nae on Khitomer to discuss an alliance she wouldn't even look me and Tovan in the eye even when Sela made it point blank that we were not apart of the Tal Shiar. The prejudice and total lack of trust on part of the Klingons and Federation should be explored, you can't tell me all that angst goes away when the Republic was formed, because in the grand scheme of things most Republics turn back into Empires over time, take for example in Earth's history of the Romans.
