I had no problems when I left for work today, but tonight when I got home. I got

Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out

    Same for me, I can get to the character selection screen, I select my captain, the loading screen gets to about 95-98% and then i get kicked out with the message 'Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out'

    saw this three times today before it let me in finally.
    Murphy's laws:
    1- Murphy’s Law tells us that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
    2- And anything that does go wrong will get progressively worse.
    3- And if you survive the first two laws it’s time to panic.

    yep, getting thrown out of game all the time . Any confirmation on that from cryptic ?

    My problem is "similar" but not that much, I login, It list my list of characters, and when I try to play, the screen freeze and then I got a CD messege! --'

    After doing a tracert, I found that its timing out after ip 38.111.40.114 (cryptic) when it goes to the account server but will make that hop to connect to the patch server.

    I also cannot connect to the Neverwinter game servers for the same authentication reasons.

    If this isn't a widespread problem, (looks like more people complaining about it on the Neverwinter forums actually) I'm not sure I can figure it out but I hope this resolves itself quickly!

    I get to the loading screen and thats it. It was fine before the season ten update and tech support is trying the bestbut not working.

    I hope we will get all the freebies as compensation for time l

    Out of curiosity, I'd like to have everyone having this issue open up a command window and run the following command:

    tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com

    How many of you are being redirected through the XBox patch server that's behind 38.111.x.x? |=)

    I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
