Login process stuck on "patching"

I run the game launcher. I enter name/password, than hit login button. The progress bar displays stop at "patching.." I let it sit overnight and still no progress. I had played the game within 24-hrs of this post with no issues.

    Ditto here. Also tried changing DNS settings with same result.

    Edit: Got an error finally:

    "Fatal Error: Unable to initialize on-demand patching and connect to Patch Server: The connection was idle for too long."

    You have unchecked the on-demand patch option in the launcher options menu (and restarted)?

    Maybe you should do a tracert test to the cryptic patch server to verify if you are even reaching the patch server.

    Did all this as well, including DNS flush and using of different DNS servers, nothing worked.
    Its the time of the CS doing their job now.

    same here - did a tracert with following result:

    C:\Users\xxxxxxxxxxx>tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com

    Routenverfolgung zu patchserver.crypticstudios.com [208.95.185.41]
