Problem Autorization

hi! Ve have the problem autorization from game laucher STO
Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out
Is not connect to server. Please help! Thanks

    it's a server issue related to Neverwinter...

    in essence, the server has too many people online and has overloaded.

    What you're feeling, is how the folks on Neverwinter feel when STO has a new content.

    It will work itself out in a day or two, or when Cryptic goes "You know, it wouldn't be such a bad idea if we kept these games on separate servers."

    Same here. I haven't been able to connect at all today. I've tried a couple dozen times, always the same error.

    I too am unable to connect, same message...Unable to Authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out.

    I am in New Zealand and getting the same notice: Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out

    This is the first time we have encountered this error as the server connection in normally quite good. I was connected until 09:30 NZ time when server crashed on locked out!

    When will the server be back up and operational?

    the server is up and operational it is just that some people cannot connect because NW had the BIG update today and cryptic thinks that having all there games on one sever is the right choice

    I made a new password but that also did not allow me to login.
    May it be possible that it is from the maintenance earlier? Was pretty laggy after that.

    It doesn't say there's a problem with your password, just with the connection

    Yes i did, but that does not say I blamed the password to have problems ;)
    I did not get the connection problems message AFTER changing my password. Before that it refused to log me in without showing a message. ;)

    Same issue as above, can't connect to the account server to authenticate. All my other internet stuff is working fine.

    Its a routing issue between your ISP and cryptic's horrible ISP. I was able to clear this by changing to a different subnet on my ISP and also by changing to a back up ISP. Hopefully it will clear up on its own accord eventually.

    It's been over 7hours now! I can only assume the their not really intrested in have ppl join the Delta Recruits.

    If they where they would have fixed this by now, as the only point of connection failure is over on your side or the pond, U,S!

    Submit a ticket, preferably with Tracert and Pathping results - this will give Cryptic additional data to identify the problem, and - if it's with their ISP, or with Cogent, as I suspect - it will give Cryptic data with which they can use to help seek a resolution.

    Seriously people, open those support tickets.
