Can not login with Arc-launcher

(I did not see a topic mentioning this problem, so a new topic for that reason)

I started up Arc Launcher as usual, no problem with that part. However it directly removes my password and refuses to let me login for some reason. I checked my fleet website and a lot on there as well have the same problem.

After that I went to my Arc account and created a new password in the hope I could login with that. Again it refused to let me login. Does anyone else seem to have the same issue?

(btw, not sure if it may be related but I may as well add it just in case. The game was extremely laggy after the update, no matter where I went or what I did. And I have a very beefy PC + network and internet, so that should be no problem at all)

EDIT:
I just noticed this text on the launcher, was not there before:

"Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out"

It can not be my internet or network, else I wouldn't be able to get on the forums or anywhere else either.

    This isn't just you, but there doesn't seem to be anything us affected folks can do except sit tight and wait.

    Asked a few fleet members on voice chat, they say they are logged in for hours already.

    New message on the splash screen (wasn't there before):

    "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out"

    I logged out of the launcher then logged back in. That fixed it for me. Hope it works for you.

    Never mind. It got me to the being able to hit the Engage button. :(

    I pin the sto app to my task bar and just launch it. I have ro log in every time, I assume arc runs in the backround.

    I was wondering if there has been any kind of information yet about the account server issue.. it's now been about 13 hours that I have tried every hour or so and am still receiving the Account Server not available messages from both the launcher and the client login screen..

    the launcher does show a green light for server status though.

    i have the same issue, arc launcher working correctly, but i can't login to star trek, and the server status on sto launcher is up

    I am currently unable to log into Arc as well. It keeps trying to update. Logging out and back in does not help me, but it did help my husband who sits accross from me at his desk. I know I can't really do anything about it, but wanted to post that the problem is still ongoing.

    Edit and update: After repairing ARC, everything is working again

    Edit and update #2...and now I'm back to issues. In the middle of a mission, I get kicked, then cryptic insists on sending a bug report even though I said cancel, then I have to task manager to end task on the report, STO, and ARC. Then upon relogging, I am patching, only to be DC'd again :(
