Tier 6 Iconic Ships Now Live!

Today we officially launch our amazing new Tier 6 Iconic Ships! The Andromeda, Negh'Tev, and D'khellra are ready to leave dry dock on their new voyage!

Our latest blog provides a breakdown of the ships including the bundle and our weekend sales discount!

    No thanks. As long as the KDF continue to get treated as an afterthought I will save my money.

    Interested, but not until the Negh'Tev gets brought in line with the other 2 ships.

    Not been in game yet, anybody have the price of these ships or the bundle in Zen? Not sure what the point of posting the dollar price is considering we don't all pay in dollars and those of us not in the US have different Zen values to the US...

    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    Prices are listed in the above link.

    In Zen they're 2500 Zen each, 5000 zen for bundle for the weekend. Then they go up to 3000/6000.

    While I appreciate the sale, I've decided I won't buy this time around. Unless the console can be used on other ships outside its class (which it doesn't say it can), it's not a priority.

    The Guardian and Odyssey can still do well enough, if not better, my Roms have yet to find a ship more interesting than the Scimitar, Command ships, or Faeht, and my KDF are still content with the Qib and Command Cruisers.

    I'm now on the fence. In game, the Negh'Tev still doesn't get any mention of a cloak - can someone confirm it does or does not have a cloak?

    Still going with that $30 for a glorified refit, huh?

    At least the Pathfinder/Interpid had a custom interiors.

    Not seeing the value. Particularly if one already has the T5U Fleet version of these ships.

    With my stipend hitting a couple of days ago, this services sale, the minor discount on the bundle and the little bonus you get for buying $50 worth of zen, the bundle of ships, with one fleet module and 2 ship slots on my main, cost me only the $50 I spent on the zen.

    Lifetime member for 3 years....and not impressed with this Cryptic. I admit I was slightly hopeful when I saw this....then you posted stats. I was similarly excited last year for the Galaxy revamp....and similarly disappointed. I fly the Gal-x on all of my Fed alts bc I am drawn to a Federation DREADNOUGHT. Someday maybe you can get around to actually making it one? Even just adding access to all skins now available to Galaxy ships (i.e. adding access to monarch, new galaxy model, and new andromeda), and getting that LtCmd tactical seat would be awesome? Oh, and please get around to fixing lance. 4 years running, and it still sucks. (and still VISUALLY modeled wrong even....seriously?) A 3 min cooldown on a weapon that is so nerfed it's pitiful, and accuracy is such a joke you can missed a tractored Borg Cube that isn't moving? Gal-X is never meant to be a DPS king, and nobody wants one. Just a DREADNOUGHT not outclassed by T4 fed ships and FREE giveway ships (i.e. risian PLEASURE cruiser) Seriously, follow up with a T6 Dreadnought to actually fix the broken one you already have....go ahead and charge 3000 zen even....people will buy it. If you count how many players have one of these sitting somewhere in their own personal shipyard, I'm sure most would chump up the cash to get one that doesn't suck. Until then, not spending any more cash on what can only be described as another cookie cutter attempt to rake in more money. This is a great idea, revamping old ships to deal with a new threat. Now do it to ships ppl want. Gal-X on feds. Klinks would love a T6 Bird of prey I'm sure. And roms just need more ships period. It is nice to see the game expanding, and new story arcs, and new ships....but seriously? The single most broken, horribly 3D modeled ship ever introduced into this game, with a MASSIVE player following.....and you can't fix it? Vent over. money is king. blah blah blah.

    Probably just an oversight, but so far, the D'Khellra and the Negh'Tev can access the "Upgrade" ship skin. The Andromeda cannot, from what I see.

    I really would like to know if the lack of a Cloak on the Negh’Tev Heavy Battlecruiser and lack of a Romulan Battle Cloak on the D’Khellra Warbird Battlecruiser are typos in the Tier 6 Iconic Ship Stats blog.

    Also: What about the D'Khellra's D(H)C capability? What about the D'Khellra's turn rate (5 mentioned, while other D'Deridexes have 5.5)?

    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    Good sale for those interested in buying these ships. Congrats for you all!

    I have to say, thumbs-up to the artists! These ships LOOK great.

    But, I'm going to pass on purchasing these ships, myself. I just don't like the stats. I don't find them worthwhile additional investments to all the money I've already spent on their previous versions. If it was $5 or $10 to "upgrade" my existing T5U versions to T6, say $30 for all three/account-wide, I'd be onboard, you'd have my money already. But I just can't bring myself to justify $90 (or even $50 with the sale/bundle). Especially knowing there's then the additional fleet upgrade on top of the C-Store purchase.

    Clearly you haven't tried the T5U Fleet GCS. The Andromeda is parsecs better.

    It will go back up to 3k Zen per ship and 6k Zen for the bundle on the 6-th of April, 10 AM PDT.

    nice ships but why no hangar? it would be very nice to be able to carry over the delta flyers from my fleet dreadnought, we already loose the cannons and the lance. this is a sidegrade at best currently ... for 2.5k/5k zen ...

    it would be really nice to use my set of delta flyers in this one (scorpions maybe in the romulan variant)

    Nice sale but did you even read the other thread dev's and see the overal disappointment by your customers? A slight change/improvement in stats, add a hangar for all three, give the Negh'Tev a set bonus on the conclose or increased stats to make up for a lack of one and you would have everyone jumping for at least one of these ships.

    Also why do the new ships have 1 less console, the Command ships have 11?
    Support the Game by Supporting the KDF, equality and uniqueness for all factions!

    Because Command ships were a Three pack for each faction --> they are Fleet ships. Normal single C-store ships aren't Fleet (like the Guardian, Mat'Ha, Qib, Aelahl, Intrepid...).

    And hey, when you compare their Fleet versions (surprisingly also released today) with Command ships, you'll notice the KDF and ROM variants only slightly fall behind. And that's only because the Command ships have the hangar bay they shouldn't have had in the first place and thus are slightly OP.
    The Andromeda/Galaxy is a different story. This lineage has always been far behind unless you needed really many eng slots and nothing else. I'd still say it's starting to catch up slowly thanks to the very much requested Lt.Comm. Tac station.
