T5-U Dyson destroyer
T5-U Vesta
T6 Intrepid
I've flown all three and I like all of them...overall I'd probably say the Vesta is the best choice of the three. Probably the best DPS unless you fly the Dyson as a Escort...also definitely the most flexible of the three...and of course...Hangar.

Eh... I've still not nailed down career yet. I just know she's going to be a Vulcan. As for ship... might bounce around, but if I have a C-Store ship of that tier, I'll at least get the console for use.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I know career(s) and what ships I want to fly (I may change one if the new Negh'var has killer stats) but I still not 100% sure what race.

Forcing myself to do something outside my comfort zone, maybe something usually not considered viable since I doubt I'll be using the character much past the event.
Definitely a science vessel, probably an engineering captain, possibly a torpedo ship (been doing some test runs through early content to decide what way to go, and so far with the changes to tachyon beam that's already seemed to be the way to go at least until level 10, at LT levels tachyon beam 1 basically removed all four shield facings from everything) or other oddball build.
Fed Alien Tactical to replace my old engineer main.
In the past I usually leveled by escort until max level. This time though I'm going through it all in a cruiser.
Light Cruiser (Connie) Deflector: Position (tanky) Engines: Hyper impulse (should help combat how slow the T1 ship is) Warp Core: One with a Coil mod, to increase sector space travel. Shield: Resilient [Cap]x2 [Dis] (since the majority of the first arc involves disruptor
Tactical: Beam Overload 1 (since it's instant and crits all the time(means I'm going to equip CrtD weapons)) Engineering: Emergency Power to Weapons (for more damage and to make up for the low weapon power). Science: Tachyon Beam (keeping the default at this level)
Thinking I might skip the Exploration cruiser and just stick with the advanced heavy cruiser, due to the terrible turnrate.
Will probably have Elisa as part of my permanent away team, as she's a pretty good ground boff.
As for reps, with the tokens I'll need about 630 marks each (easy).
Omega Rep:-
This'll be rather difficult for an undergeared alt, luckily the aegis shield is rather cheap on the exchange and it should help hull tank. Should be able to do 3 matches every day for 3 days to have enough marks.
With the Romulan Navy armour it might be a better idea to focus on ground STFs. My old main has a TR-116 which is account bound, so it should give my delta recruit a leg up. Looks like Khit Ground Advanced here I come (need the accolade anyway)
Romulan Rep:-
Epohh tagging... Bleh. This will be a bore.
Nukara Rep:-
Crystalline Entity Advanced. If I felt like it I could probably max it in one day.
Dyson Rep:-
Woohoo Battlezone! Two days I reckon to max it.
Undine Rep:-
Woohoo Battezone! x2 Two days to max it.
Delta Rep:-
Bug Hunt won't be available for a while (a 'while' for someone impatient that is), so patrol is probably the best bet. Borg Disconnected Advanced would be better (since it's only the end that's a DPS race), but I don't trust the majority of pugs to do it right.
I am planning to do that with the Constitution.
Human Captain, just haven't decided on Engineering or Science yet.
Im going the same with an Exeter Connie skin

I am not being super cereal about this and I am strictly making a troll character.
So what cereal are you making? Bran flakes?

I was going to do an Enterprise concept but decided to do a Reboot universe concept and head canon that they are trapped in the STO universe. They'll bee in an Exeter til lvl 50 and then switch to an Tac Oddy.

I only have two fed characters who are max level and both were finished leveling when LoR came out but I really never did much except on my sci captain (the other is an engineer.) Well, I say max level but the engi is 50 still and my Sci is scraping xp out of the bottom of a barrel at 58.
I'm probably going to make a Fed aligned Romulan and a KDF Klingon and try to get both to at least 50 before the event ends. If it's important to hit 60 to get the benefits of some of the account wide unlocks I'll probably just focus on the Romulan.
I'm still really torn on what to make the Fed Romulan. I don't want another sci toon especially Romulan as I hear it's....trouble but can't decide if it should be a Tac or Eng toon. Same goes for the Klingon. (I do plan on rolling another Fed Tactical character once both of those are done so maybe that helps me pin down what the Romulan should be.) Never played either so not really sure what might be best for each faction, option wise.
I'm going to go with a Ferasan science officer. After all, I might as well try something I haven't and my roster of characters is lacking in both Ferasans and KDF science officers.
I'm sticking to my plan for a Tac/KDF/Rom/Vaadwaur(Alien). I have done a "Dry Run" already, got to Level 50 after "What Lies Beneath" plus one DOff mission, so I can't imagine where I'll end up with XP bonuses...
I really made the "dry run" toon to hold onto the gear I've been getting ready for this new toon. I have all Mk III gear waiting in that toon's bank. Ground sets for a 5 man away team, core/engine/shield/deflector set, space weapons and matching tac consoles, even some Eng consoles. Like I said, they're all Mk III. Mk III because I started them at Mk II and applied a Superior Tech Upgrade to each piece. The new toon won't have to use any dil to upgrade the gear for a while, but also will not be needing to worry about what to keep from drops. I've tested this method on the "dry run" toon, even bought some "Green" quality upgrades with money that toon earned and applied them with Dil that toon earned. Overall, it was much less stressful, I really don't think I'll ever level another toon without doing this, at least to some extent, again. The one thing I will do differently for DR is NOT to upgrade any gear with anything but Superior Upgrades. When some gear ran out of points because I had used the lesser quality upgrades, keeping track of what was what got a little more confusing than it needed to be.
To accomplish the Vaadwaur status of the toon, I have the costume waiting, even managed to find some really low-Mk Vaadwaur pistols and a rifle on the exchange. They'll have the fighter (Pythus?) to fly around in until they are high enough level to open the Vaadwaur escort they have waiting. I didn't track down any lower Mk Vaadwaur space weaponry, it was too pricey, but do have a Mk XII set of dual cannons and turrets ready to go on the escort when it is time.
Now, I have two things to contemplate:
1. Since, when our DR's join a fleet, it will help the fleet in a big way, apparently, do I want to go Fed instead so I can join the fleet I'm already in? Should I start a 2nd DR toon to fulfil the same purpose?
2. Should I tweak the space set I've got waiting? What mods would be good to have? Basically, if I want to put together a space set I can level with that has some synergy, which mods will help me the most?

For the topic I've yet to create the obligatory Orion. Probably sci and I've set aside the Zen for a B'Rel and T5-U upgrade.
This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
I'm thinking about an Andorian Tac to use the Kumari. I used that ship before and loved it. Now I'm thinking about an Andorian crew to man it. At least most Andorian.

I'll be rolling and Alien, probably Romulan faction - KDF aligned (if not a straight up KDF Alien) as it gives me access to the best CStore unlocks I have...
Still not decided about what class to go as I prefer Tac, but I've been having alot of fun recently with my Sci characters... Only problem with a Rom/KDF Sci is the lack of T6 Sci Ship choices...

Ship: Faeyt at end game... because why the heck not... and people in a thread I posted suggested it. Since the rest of the Romulan ships are very choice limited there won't really be a question of what ship I drive as I level up.
Since this won't be a main... and primarily will be a dilithium farmer and RP character I'll probably out fit it with Romulan Rep gear at the end and be done with it.

Fast, powerful, maneuverable, great Boff layout choices, and as was said before it has a hanger.
