I want to state this is NOT intended to insight flaming, or make little kids mad, because they don't understand plain English. This is a STATEMENT from an ADULT, player, who leads ONE OF THEE only ACTIVE tier 5 fleets in this game. We are THRIVING, because we see the "teamwork" needed in the game now. IN NO WAY is 5 strait scimitar DPSERS the most efficient FAST way to do anything in this game.
VCE for example, if you do it right, you put a science healer on the tank, the tank tanks, extra tanky, and the other three of us don't even need to shoot yer weapons until a MAW opens or the Borg show up. The three non firing team members, DPS IN NO WAY at all matters.
CSA? Put your NON dpsers on the kang, and tell them to SPAM heals on it. 2 DPSERS can whipe everything out, call the kang, boom. 3 minutes like ole CSE.
ISA, all you need is to shoot two gravwells in succesion NOT AT THE SAME TIME.... each side of the gate.
Korfez? Hope its not the benthans, something about them ships says TO WEAK.
BHE? Bring a medic. And toxic resistance.
UIE, read a guide on how to answer things.
NTTE, bring a zoot ( EV ) suit.
DRSE? Know the map, and where to go.
CCA, do ALOT OF healing, and/OR alot of DPS, consider that first place.
Hive space elite? Pull the tac cube cloud APART by tanking it with MORE then one tank, that can ALSO do DPS. This is about the ONLY actual "DPS" required in the ques to "beat them" in a "decent" amount of time. Decent to me, is before the timer runs out.
Which brings me to this.....
I noticed today, about 9000000 fricken NEGATIVE WHINY posts, that seemed to have been coming from 16 year old kids, about a "hiccup" in the hamsters wheel.
Few things i would like to point out. Your whining to the business owners, and in real life, your asked to leave the place if your a RUDE customer. I am sure this is UNIVERSALLY understandable. The kids that think they can Hide behind a computer monitor, and
"act" tough, are the ones that need to go, especially if all they are doing is, expressing dis-concern, over the game, yet keep logging into it. Jst to talk TRIBBLE.
NO you do not go into a restaurant, paying for a prime rib, expecting to get one, and then get a TRIBBLE cut of meat, and expect that was worth the 50 bucks you just spent.
Yes you do have a "right" to express your dis concern. NO you do not have a right to RUIN the BUSINESS you keep coming back to.\
But this type of TRIBBLE....
"OMAGERD, THEY PATCHED THE GAME and now i can't shoot the Berg!!!!!!!!" and today less then or close to an hour BOOM everything was fixed, minus tonight's patch. THIS SCREAMS TO ME, Cryptic listens to the POSITIVE people.... Not the NEGATIVIE..
I noticed quite a few comments, on, oh not this again, why does this happen every week? Not the case, Delta Risings LAUNCH day was almost FLAWLESS, except they did a late night patch, ( murica' HUZZAAH! ) meaning not ONCE, but MULTIPLE times, these people have worked OVERTIME to PLEASE you. Least you could do for them is SHOW THEM respect, even if you do not AGREE with them 100%. THIS IS CALLED LIFE, and if PEOPLE keep acting like CHILDREN on the internet, crying for a baby bottle, eventually, the FCC will take it over, and start making "regulations" like making "trolling" a punishable offence.
This is a COMMUNITY. And people that act like that, need to be disciplined. Just like any other community.... break the law you go to jail.
That is CRYPTIC'S OBLIGATION to its customers. Discipline the LAWBREAKERS...even if that means make them go away. AND CRYPTIC is the law around here.
DO YOU WHINERS know how it AFFECTS the games population? Most people check out a games forums, before they sign up, to see if the game has issues.... what is anybody going to read, when they come here? 87% negativity, the rest, yes, you know who you positive people are.
Do you know what i personally see in all these comments? People wanting to "hide glitches" and just in general, come here to be online bullies, because they skipped school to play star trek online, and now they cannot.
YET from a majority of those COMMENTS i see CAREER officer, under there name. That not only means you payed for the game, and that status, but you are MORE THEN LIKELY an ADULT!
DO you WHINERS realize, that your VOICE is more then likely going UNHEARD because of the constant moaning and groaning about "ITS CRYPTICS FAULT THE SERVERS WENT DOWN!!!! BAD COMPANY, BAD COMPANY!!!"
In the end, i can see cryptic's tactic, to drive all the jerkface mcspitacks outta the game, and outta the forums. Keep taking the blame for everything.... The kids will lose their attention and go somewhere else. Yes a MAJORITY of the NGATIVITY is coming from the VETS unwilling to THINK critically, on the EXCELLENTO changes in the game, from "PRE Delta rising".
Those who stick around, keep paying money, yet keep crying about lil COMMON problems in ANY mmo, like todays, need to be ran over by a Neg'vhar.
Today i noticed laughingtrendy do her job, 1000 times better then any community mod manager in the past.
I have never supported a Dev, or Manager, or GM or any form of this company, i went after dental, because of how they "claim" to have Dev friends in the game, yet BULLIED a 14 year old kid, into swearing, then REPORTING HER for a ToS violation, THIS OCCURED while i was on teamspeak TALKING TO HER, and HER MOTHER, about it being okay she plays with people who swear alot, as i DO swear like a sailor. Other then that, Nbreeki, and @vvett are COOL INTELLIGENT fun WITTY people when they wanna be. I do not go hunting them down, or want to ruin their fleet, or anything. I will PREVENT that kind of behavior from happening to my people though, if CRYPTIC wont do anything about it. And if that requires me to be a better trol then that entire troll fleet, then by all means, i'll fricken do it!
Nor have i spent money just to support the company with money. I teach/show/share my fleet members, how to AVOID paying money on the game. It is ALL about perspective. Today, i want to blow 100 bucks, just cause how trendy did her job.
Cryptic knows this, and in the end, to me, laugh at that, because the forums are being trolled sure.... but in the end, who is REALLY doing the trolling? I think Cryptic has one in the bag, over all you negative peeps, because i would introduce something in a video game, that ATTRACTS thinkers, TALKERS, and DISCUSSION makers. You know, people with an IQ over that of FORREST GUMP. I don't know, maybe something like a HIGHER DIFFICULTY? Or maybe, something ELSE to spend yer dilithium on ASIDE from zen, and lock box keys? ALL while killing the REPETITIVE, running to the bridge officer trainer. You actually "build" your bridge officers, now, by, TRAINING them.. yeah it costs 200 dil to make a PADD.... WHOOPDEE FREAKIN DO I SAY! I DONT HAVE TO GO TO THE BOFF TRAINING BUT ONCE IN THAT BOFFS LIFE! HA!
Dilithium in the RnD system? I would rather pay 1885 dilithium, and 1.5 mil ( avg. ) for an RnD research upgrade accelrator, and MAKE 100 mil EC if i DO IT right and WAIT for the right modifiers.
Last but not least, EVERYONE needs to WAKE up and REALIZE, ADULTS rule the gaming world. Not kids that TRIBBLE and moan over TRIBBLE... no MATTER yourRL age.

Here is the ANSWER i gave him..... Who do you think makes video games? High school kids? 13 year olds?... I am a stay at home FATHER for a reason, and i don't need to EXPLAIN my reasons to ANYBODY.
I was RAISED around video games, and when i find one i like, and the community is SO overwhelmingly NEGATIVE, i say hey, i am a grown up, INTELLIGENT human being, and maybe i would like to HELP that company, no matter how i feel about its "buissness model"... i don't like it, but obviously it works.
I get an OVERWHELMING feeling, that DESPITE cryptics flaws, i am the ONLY tier 5 fleet leader, that supports what they do, even if "I" don't like it. Like dinosaurs with Lazors..... Remember the "uproar" over that?
Where does everyone go to get dilithium now?............. Cryprtic didnt NERF things like diligram, because we got so much dilithium from it.... They "nerfed" it because you could do it, WITHOUT PLAYING THE GAME basically, which COMPLETELY degrades the product.
Diligramming, basically, DROVE the games economy down. The foundry glitch on the other hand drove it up, and up, and up, UP. In the end, i asked myself, now, are these people REALLY that stupid, to leave a foundry glitch like that open, for so many YEARS? I don't think so. They knew it was there, and let it buck, to PUT dilithium into the games economy faster.
You know what DESTROYS tier 5 fleets? It is POOR leadership, OVER that group of people to LET arguing over it seep into the ranks. I could go further into detail, on WHY exactly, but i did NOT let that problem blow our fleet up, with in-fighting and B.S. Nor am i a "snitch" to the company, like that one guy, blabbing about the common doffs being unbind-able.
Cryptic KNOWS about this glitch being there, SO LARGER SMART FLEETS, would take the INITIATIVE to help SMALLER fleets. LIKE WE DO, and BY GOSH!!! we are friendly about it too!
Instead, half of the tier 5 fleets, that made it to tier 5 BLEW UP, because of GREED!
So to sum it up, Cryptic's ONLY obligation to its, customers, are, to provide a service, and take your money, and have a smile on their face, and say as LITTLE as possible. There are a MILLION reasons for everything in this game, and it is "not just" cryptic's fault.
The MAJOR issue i see, is the NEGATIVITY towards a game, i know at LEAST 100,000 people play daily.
Instead of asking for cheese with all your whine, like i witnessed today, i would have to say, instead of being so GD negative, just make ONE, just ONE fricken POSITIVE comment about the game. The WHINERS are OBVIOUS returnee's to the forums.
Most of you are lifers to this game, and yet you just cry about stuff, you do not even offer any POSTIVE feedback. do that, or EVENTUALLY you WILL just quit playing.
Same with ANY mmo.
I am sitting here, watching my fleet EVOLVE into one of the greatest, in the game, simply because we, whether we like it or not.... Are invested, in this company.
I'll be here till the servers die, unless cryptic feels a need to ban me.. I'm sure a Majority of our officers will be too. Im figuring, nah, i'm HOPING for another 5 years. I personally am AFRAID of the day, i have to say goodbye to the friends i have made in this game.
Now, what I AM going to do, is PREPARE for the Delta Recruitment, because yah sure, we hand out random invites, no problem.... Why would i want a potential good player, choosing to join a dead tier 5 fleet? I would rather they join an ACTIVE tier 1 fleet, and WE help them as long as they are not jarkfaces, when it comes to "chatting".
Why? Because, if your not seeing it, EC-Dil-Fleet credits-dil-ec its all tied together, and you can make one off the other. And instead of telling people they should be doing "this much DPS", instead, i am going to say, KNOW YOUR CAPTAINS ABILITIES and have FUN playing this game.
And If you want that shiny ship, i'll show yah how to get it with-in a week, guaranteed.
I DO recommend to NEW players there are a FEW things they do WANT to buy out of the Z-store, kinda my way of saying thank you cryptic..and making sure players who play with us, are doing what they came here to do...

Its not hard and requires no magic tricks either, just a Xindi Soldier outfit, and your character being an alien.
