    Just an update, I'm in northeastern VT, Fairpoint is my ISP and I'm still not having a single problem logging in. Don't know if this helps you pin it down or not...

    Interesting that most of them are going through cogentco.com but mine went through zayo.com. I've seen a couple others that are going through other routes, but the vast majority seem to be cogentco.com. I wonder what the difference is. I'm in north FL and not a techie at all...I'm just good at mashing buttons until I figure stuff out. lol

    For future reference, in the CMD window, right click, choose select all, while everything is highlighted, [CTRL] + C key (this copy's the highlighted text) then go to the forum reply box, click the cursor in the box, right click, then choose paste.

    Might want to mention that anyone using Window10 or up, you just scroll your mouse down to the lower right corner of the desktop, if you're in desktop mode, and the top option that appears is the search function, so you can bypass any start button. Because Win10 doesn't -have- a start button that leads to anywhere but back to the apps menu. I know some users won't know that, and will get even more fustrated with the situation when they think they're being told BS, when really, the instructions are for a pre-Win10 OS computer.

    FWIW (and probably not much), I'm running a MacBook Pro, and I use Boot Camp for Windows, and I tried the same thing through OS X, and got the same result ("You may not log in from this IP address") Not sure how to run a tracert in OS X, or if it would even make a difference...
