He's off to the Great Bird of the galaxy's nest now. I wonder if the Devs will say anything concerning this?

    End-stage COPD is pretty brutal.

Thanks for the entertainment, Mr. Nimoy.

I'm struck speechless (which is pretty rare for me) by his passing.

Everyone here probably already knows what an incredibly gifted and prolific talent Nimoy was, but his New York Times obituary might be worth a read. It's definitely worth sharing with others outside of Trekdom through social media.

It is with very heavy heart that I post this message today and I cannot help but feel the pain that a Vulcan could not in doing so. For all of his gifts to his fans and our future, I'll let the words of Captain James Tiberius Kirk speak for me.

"We are assembled here today to pay final respects to our honored dead. And yet it should be noted that in the midst of our sorrow, this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new world; a world that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish. He did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate his profound wisdom at these proceedings. Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human."

Someone should save them to a video and place it on YouTube with pictures of him appropriate for each sector speech.

Thanks for the reminder. I know what I will be doing first when I open the game.

Cryptic--With the family's permission, would you please consider releasing any unused material you might have? It could be a lovely tribute.
