Shuttle Weekend Event (2/19 - 2/23)

Jump into your fastest, dartiest shuttle and earn twice as many marks in our Shuttle Weekend Event! Fill the sky with shuttles, Captains!

    Once again there is a weekend event advertising stuff not included. It specifically says "including No Win Scenario" in the game. Bring back No Win Scenario. It's the only challenging content in the entire game. 20 man shuttle No Win Scenario was literally one of the most fun parts of this game.

    Agree with the above poster. NWS Shuttle is listed on the calendar! Personally I was really looking forward to this specific event. It's not like the power creep was really affecting shuttles anyway. No reason not to bring back NWS Shuttle.

    does this event have any impact on full-size fleet support and pirates, just as overpowered universal consoles in the shuttle-pvp q (may even a fix?!)?

    No shuttle no win scenario then I have no interest in participating. Its been advertised on the event calendar as included in this event to give us false hope that we might actually get to play some form of the queue that has stolen from us, but no you couldn't even give us that.

    It's quite disappointing that after the last news TRIBBLE up and the following apology, which blamed the error to a missing "ingame calendar" and "news posts" cross referencing check, the situation still has not improved. You guys should know by now which topics are sensitive.....................

    Hey guys, just a quick heads up!

    After double checking with the team, NWS will not be available, and we will see the in-game calendar change tomorrow.

    Why shuttle...thought it would be an XP weekend. Thanks but no thanks. This event is one of the most USELESS and should be scrapped off completely. Sorry just my opinion but what a waste of a weekend event :mad:

    Yep.
    Pirates dont work and Fleet support calls in Small craft.

    But Fleet Assets still work normally

    Sorry you feel that way. I actually enjoy this event.
    I would LOVE to see Shuttle versions of the BORG STFs too!

    Poor old No Win Scenario.

    Here's hoping they aren't planning to reintroduce it with drastically reduced rewards, while hoping the players are too stupid to notice.

    I do love shuttle weekend, a great way to stock up on marks for alts too.

    I'd be there with bells on if you could get APCs from this event. I might even stop pretending Delta rep has no equipment projects.

    Marks rain down from the heavens, without the BNIs and APCs they don't mean much.

    I was looking forward to the 2XP to plow through the Samsar and Sarr masteries on the few captains I have left active without going insane.

    ah thx, good to get reminded :). i think i can recall such now :D... but what about uni-cons (like iso-charge)? do those still one-shot whole teams?

    Not sure about iso charge, but I know the cheez cannon (Point Defense) is weaker when used mounted on Small craft

    Actually this event might be kinda fun... I might dust off the Aeon (had it as my shuttle since it came out) and try using it with a 2 piece adapted maco set with the newbtronic torpedo. Just need to think of what to use for the other two piece set. Also have a few ship traits that might be amusing with the shuttle.

    WoW. My paladin has been neglected lately.

    Sorry, shuttle play isn't quite what it used to be with the changes in DR.

    I enjoyed the first shuttle weekend, the second wasn't nearly as fun since the nerf bat had hit it at full swing.
    Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    Shuttle event is the most fun event on the calendar imo.

    Exactly. Not sure if I'll even bother this time. This not-so-much-an-event event mixed with fiddling with the loadout system and changing ships does not inspire me to play.

    even though i'm not playing this game this was advertised on Facebook so though I would post here removing NWS was the only part of the shuttle even i enjoyed since you have done which is remove content and replacing it with mediocre content I know I made the right decision in removing the game from my computer

    Major systems directly affecting space combat (loadouts, UI) remain broken, without comment from Cryptic for weeks in some cases. Problem? Nope, just keep piling on the events.

    I was going to buy the Vaadwaur Pythus Fighter and set it up as a DBB boat or torp boat since it is the only small craft that can have two tactical ensigns (= 2x FAW1 or 2xTS1). Or maybe go with 1xFAW1 with doffs for cd reduction on beam special attacks and 1xTT1 for the civilian transport (plus doffs for TT cd reduction). However, since there will be no shuttle nws, there's no incentive for me to try something new or to upgrade my shuttle gear.

    Shuttles are always fun, because they kinda have to be built in a specialized way to be successful, even more so in a team of players preparing their small craft for joint ops.

    I'd love to see the Hodos system patrol somehow included in this event :)
