you should make an indicator for the location of the lost kobali in the maze, since talking to him/her/whatever grants a purple command/engineering kobali boff
unless the location is random, then there's no point

A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"

Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

In the two separate attempts I've made at Dust to Dust (one each on two different characters), the Kobali Hanchon DOES change locations. Not sure if there's a set pattern to spots she'll show up though. Both spots I found her were along the left-hand/west wall next to dead-end consoles.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Right I've had her appear in various places, which is why I left her out.

I think its random cause I've found the BOFF in a different spot every time.
She always appears by the consoles that mark passages as dead ends. Never by the ones that are used for the vaadwar lore accolade. I've seen her in both section 2 and section 3, but not yet in section 1 (6 runs through the mission aren't enough to say she "doesn't" spawn in 1).
BoFF is found at the ! icon every time so it's in a different position every time.

Location of the 5 Vaadwaur Consoles for you all. Happy Accolade hunting. Consoles 1 & 2 Consoles 3, 4 & 5 Console 5 Walkthrough
Be warned I do have my aspect ratio set very high on this game, so you may want to enlarge the picture to read what it says in them.
Lol, map has been out for 4 days now. Seems no one reads accolade list thread. They also have the console locations there.

Those lore consoles might be good to add in.
I've also seen her in random dead ends that have no other purpose.
you only need to clear the map in under 2 mins one time...
found the boff the 1st time and clicked on every console...
by the 3rd time I did this map I cleared it in under 2 mins... route/path never changes so you sort of get the hang of it.
btw... after you clear the map you can walk the path and see where to go... the walls do go back down into the ground but the path is still clear to follow.
Why would anyone build a server room like a maze, though?
As a defensive measure to slow down the progress of invaders, perhaps. It's supposed to be deep enough that any intruders who have made it that far down likely don't have heavy demolition equipment to just blast their way through it.

Got her on 5 toons, only once did she appear in the same spot, and once she was on the opposite wall. She's always at a dead end near a console, but that is pretty much it. she appeared at 4 different dead-ends for me amongst 5 toons.

Or it could simply be that the server room was just designed to extend individual servers above the ground for easy access - and our Kobali-Harry-Kim did just abuse the system to create a maze.

I agree..whats the point of a map without at least putting where some of the locations for the Boff are? Even if its random...would be nice to put a red dot where the most common encounters are...thanks anyways
I've been replaying this many times and I always get lost when using this map after the second stairs. Is it possible that there's a mistake, something wrongly marked on this map?

The idea came form the same people who built a moving floor composed of stages that shock you and send you too your doom, falling.
It's probably a way for Kobali to have corpses.

Imagine you're brushing your fingers along the wall as you're walking. Stick to that wall and follow it everywhere and it will lead you out.
Also, is the Kobali always a female Boff or does it vary?
