Long 'loading' time after patch

This is pretty consistent, and I can get it on holodeck or tribble. The first time I log in after a patch, I have to let it stay on the loading splash screen for a long time until it gets the 'authenticator failed' message and goes to the login screen in-client, then I can log in normally without problems from them on.

Trying to force-kill the client and start again has a similar effect. Something with the authenticator isn't passing right on first attempt. I'm using Arc to launch the client, and the log-in passes correctly between the two.

    I also have this issue with my game. I have the patch on demand removed so i get the full patch, but during its long load time, i noticed my hard drive light ticking away. I am just assuming here that its actually applying the patches during this step. Since it takes so long it times out by the time it finishes for the actual login, but its on a guess from what i have observed.
