Prepatch

This comes up every time there's a prepatch to STO for the major launches. I download the prepatch fully, and then the day comes when it goes live and I end up redownloading it. What is the point of prepatching if I'm just going to end up doing again the day it comes out?

    Was about to post this exact same thing.

    I prepatch and it checks to see if I have it downloaded every single time I log out. And then the day of the patch gets here and guess what? That's right, I end up redownloading the 2+ gigs I already downloaded.

    It's been this way since Legacy of Romulus and frankly, I'm getting sick of it. I'm just glad I don't have a download limit or I'd be REALLY peeved.

    I'm glad I don't have a download limit either. What I do have however is a sub-standard download speed combined with the utter horrible Cryptic download servers.

    I hear ya, I'm in relatively the same boat. I'm hoping I'll be done downloading by the time I get back from lunch, but who knows.

    Same thing, downloaded 3GB prepatch yesterday, then today I get another 3GB patch patch.
