Yeah, I am apparently in the wrong for suggesting you back up your claim of 100 attempts. I apologize for not taking your statement at face value. I forget that we operate on the honor system on the STO forums. Silly me.
Alright, now we're getting somewhere. Now how about your e-mail(s) from Perfect World stating that they detected no hijacking attempts on your account? Again, with your confidential information censored, of course.
I guess I don't understand why there's such a quick assumption that this didn't happen rather than that it did...when the OP gives a screenshot *and* the fact that this happening has been reported more than once. There'as a pretty huge line between a little skeptical for something unheard of being reported andsomething that has been posted on here, Reddit, Facebook and Twitter more than once by other players. I'm not claiming it's not potentially the OPs own fault that his/her security might have been compromised but it's not like people aren't getting their accounts TRIBBLE on occassion to be used for spamming/botting.
OP: Post headers and if possible extracted URLs from any links from one of those emails. Having triggered those warnings myself, what you're getting isn't consistent with what happens (once the account is locked out no attempt to log in will be allowed and alerts aren't generated anymore), but IS consistent with having found yourself onto a phishing maillist multiple times.
Wonder how many warnings will be given out tomorrow...

That's because the OP has been posting a lot of "bad news" without proof lately... so he has been playing cry wolf for some time...
I know, im at least 3 times a day roaming the forums for something to laugh at...
Anyway, hope the OP has no problem with his account and everithing solves nicely..
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
I understand chainging email is an issue. I always use a junk email i use for subscriptions. And i have the recovery on my main email in case it gets TRIBBLE.
The issue isnt wether they can get in on the game. But it is wether they can guess your email password with your game password. I would suggest chainging both.
Also you have coverd yourself. If they somhow spoof your ip address and get on and cause problems for you. Or even banned. You have this post and your official report. Just change both passwords and get a second backup for your email in case you get locked out.
I thrive off of your unhappiness with my forum presence. It gives me power.
And here I thought that monitoring 4Chan about your latest long winded pompous forum escapades was the true secret to your power ... . :P

Best advice I think would be to login and change the email address associated with your account to another.
Make sure you're using strong passwords on both your STO account and your email, and do not use the same password for them!
Good advice.
Also use a virus scanner (avast is a good free one) and Malwarebytes to check for malware. Better to be safe than sorry.
If you use wifi then make sure that once you login somewhere it is through a secure connection.
Password mining through insecure wifi is on the rise so beware.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
You know, I haven't really noticed. When the STO forums stop giving me comedy I usually read the commentary about the game there. It isn't often, though.
I once had a huge wall of PWE account reset emails too.
I hadn't started playing STO and didn't have a PWE account yet at the time.
I also regularly get similar spam warning me about attempts to hack the Diablo 3 account I don't have. It's surprising how often big companies like PWE and Blizzard send emails to their not-customers advising them of threats to their nonexistent accounts and requesting personal details to help keep the account safe. They really need to work on their record keeping.

Since this is Star Trek Online we're talking about, we can safely assume it was Time Travel. Probably by Iconians. (don't deny it, Iconians, we don't believe anything you say anymore)

Which usually means it's not from them, but a phishing mail - trying to make you follow a link to a website that looks close enough to the "real" one to trick an actual customer to enter their username and password there.
That's why it is generally best to not follow links in e-mails like that. If you follow an e-mail link and you're asked for your login credentials, you better stop right there. Close the browser tab/window and log into the website your "usual"/"safe" way.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

Yeah, I get those stupid D3, requests too. And yeah, I once took a close look.... it's fake. It's a spoof of the passwaord reset form.

Ok, that I wasn't aware of. I'm not defending the OP, just my subjective observations that there seems to be a recurring theme that some players accounts potentially being compromised for the purpose of spamming seems to be having a slight uptick. At worst, its a good reminder for everyone to be vigilant and being responsible to keep our guard up security-wise.
As for crying wolf, yeah, that doesn't help anyone. There are enough legitimate concerns with Cryptic/PWE's handling of STO on multiple fronts without resorting to baseless mongering. In this case, the OP may have an issue and I'm glad he/she me tioned something so I can keep an eye out for anything suspicious with my own account.
my friend hasn't played sto in about six months, but suddenly got an alert that there was a 100 dollar charge. sure enough in the transaction history there was the 100 dollar charge, a secondary email was sent about the security access code to get into the game, but no success since email was a different password. but the interesting thing is his email was in a 30min wait for attempting to get it with many fail attempts. after getting back into sto, the 100 dollar wasn't approved as the zen wasn't there, but seeing more spam bots in chat lately i think sto has some sort of security hole since they were able to get in on pwe account to charge it but not the game itself.
OP, I had your problem for a while. Here's what I did to stop it.
I downloaded ARC, logged into it, and activated the ARC Defender system for my computer. The attempts stopped after that, because their computers were not recognized by the Defender.
I can understand the worry about getting a lot of requests to reset your password because someone is trying to gain access to your account, however obviously they didn't gain access so while annoying, no harm was done.
Always remember if you click a link from an email saying to reset your password MAKE SURE IT LEADS YOU TO A PERFECTWORLD.COM OR ARCGAMES.COM ADDRESS, or just don't click the link.
Also if you want help? The way you made your thread isn't the way to go.

Which would do everyone in the forum a big favor...

The Forum PvP is really strong this weekend.
People must be bored as hell.

100 or not. I beleve the op may have someone trying to gain access.
I am actually kinda thankful for arcs new security. One of the things i feel they got right

I'm the one that suggested this to the OP:
