nice try Cryptic, but you didn't fix anything. I tried talking to Q as recommended but that did nothing. Oh and the obvious, yes I do own it on one of my other toons, have the screenies to prove it as well.

I assume this is not fixable as we got our first ships 2 years ago from the old system. Some sort of token will have to be introduced if we're lucky.

even before the patch my alts can get the cruiser for only 40 pics... didnt own the escort so dont know about that.
Q has nothing to say to me. If I were Picard perhaps. But no, there is nothing changed about the Q interactions.

Tried. Didnt do anything.
Logged in every toon, including two who have the ship from the first year. 1 of whom still has it packed, the other who was flying it for most of that year (the Chel Grett.) Talked to Q in both zones. Nothing new. Relogged, changed zones. Tried slotting and cancelling each of the projects. Still 1,000 on all toons (even the ones who already have it.)
So, I must be missing something, or the change doesnt work.

I'm just going to go ahead and assume the power trays rearranging themselves being fixed is similarly as reliable information. :rolleyes:
We need to bear in mind that those of us who got the ship the first year did it before the reputation system and before there were "projects" to collect it. Personally I've been working under the assumption that us 1st year people won't get a discount and have been running the race daily on all 10 toons. I know I only need 3 to get all three ships, but what the hell, there's always the requirements for next year I can save up for.
Anyway, I haven't heard Cryptic say anything about 1st year people, just the people who completed the "Project" last year to collect the ships, which was also broken. So while they did fix it for those people, it's hard to say what will come of this for those of us 1st year folks.
yeah just knock out a quick 1000 no problem.... I have them stuffed somewhere - here let me pull them out of my .....

Nope, 1st year was the Breen Chel Grett Warship. The second year (after they implemented the reputation system) was the Breen Plesh Brek Heavy Raider.
well i didnt pick up the raider last year... only did the cruiser... this year I had 2 toons with over 600 to start with... so yeah one will hammer out the raider and the other the carrier.
worse case.. 40 a day for 25 days. still have time even if you start today.
You know 2 years ago I would have done it with a smile on my face but the slippery language of the patch notes has me really ticked off. I was expecting this not to work for us old-timers. I wish they would just come out and say that the first year people are sol. I won't be using the set anyway but it would be nice to have in case some day they make it decent.

No Joke? This has been a major issue for me cause I just hated re-slotting everything each time I transition from group map to space cause I park on a ground map when I join ques... easier to sell and bank and do repairs
I don't think it has anything to do with t5-u. They just didn't update something concerning the ship and the new rep system and those of us who have been around since that ship's event are getting screwed because of their lack of competency in their own code.
As for the tray 'fix', give it at most a month, it'll be back to TRIBBLE up. Wosrt case, next Thursday's patch breaks it again....don't laugh it's happened before.

They said what they did was slot the project for 1000 pictures. They then cancelled it, and once cancelled the project for 40 pictures was available.
Maybe you can try that, I hope it works.

I got the Chell Grett when it was first put out. When people more cared about the Bug ship... but now we have had the ship for a LONG time. So we had it notably before the reputation system.
I have a Breen Energy Dissapator on one toon, although i would like to be able to get it on another for dirt cheap.
So I submitted a ticket... hoping they see that I linked the item as proof of my having the ship earned... But we will see. If they do not fix it... Then i guess Dear Leader does not want me to have one...
I feel like a bad party guest who doesn't get the 'get out loser' hint.
