WOW!!! So much has changed, All I could stand to read on this was about 3 pages, it hurt to much to read more. I went through the beta and about a year then RL caught me and I had to stop. However just reading what I did, I just wanted to cry. Seams like STO went from the verge of greatness to just another thing to get cash from people.

I have to see it, so I am going to reload it and try the free 2 play bit. If it has fallen so far as to singe its TRIBBLE on the edge of hades then I will not be here long.

    Bugs I miss:

Taking full sized ships into the vault.
    Pulsewave slide chaining.
    various map boundry glitches.

Cryptic have always targeted and fixed the fun bugs. Wish they would apply the same degree of effort to fixing real issues.

    Features I miss:

    Terrardome
    The old Crystalline Entity
The DS9 and SB24 ground fleet actions

    What I miss most:

They days when gear made a minor difference to performance, and doffs and rep powers didn't exist. Back then if you had a fair knowledge of game mechanics could take a commander into STO Ker'rat and take down Admirals one after the other.

These days even a complete idiot can put enough game braking stuff on their ship that you at least need a captain to take them down.
