Black friday sale?

    They don't deserve your support until they fix the current state of the game. Even a sale wouldn't change that fact.

    Plus... with such an abyssmal "success" that DR's release was, I doubt they have the overhead to front a sale right now.

    Giving them your money now is just like rewarding crpytic/pwe for ruining the game and lying straight into your face serveral times.

    Keeping the wallet closed is the only way to show them that they lose their job in the long term if they don't care about players who pay for the game.

    I figure they will have some sort of Zen sale or a bonus zen event. Either way I will probably buy a lot of zen.

    Depends on what you mean by success. If you mean financial success, DR was very big for them. If you mean player satisfaction, it is less than stellar.

    Still, a sale would be nice. Not sure I will buy anything, but I am sure others might. At this point, I have pretty much everything there is to buy.

    I'm dying for a services sale here and there's an accumulation of stipend burning a hole in my pocket. :P I need more things to hold the other things.

    In 2012 and 2013, they've had a ship sale at this time of year, so that's what I would expect to see. If they stay true to form, everything but the new Pathfinder will be on sale. They never include the newest ship in sales. Actually, they've been $5 off this weekend anyway.

    What I could really use, however, is a services sale. I'd like to buy bridge officer slots for my new intel officers, ship slots for my new intel ships. Maybe even a character slot to try a Talaxian.

    I can tell you now they are not going to have any sale.

    The reason I know is this. I will have money I can allocate to STO and plan to already.
    And they have never had a sale at the same time I have had money to use it. :P











    They are always welcome to prove me wrong though. ;)

    If memory serves me correctly, there should be a ship sale around this time. As the others said, it most likely won't include the Intrepid bundle but I'm being on the Delta Rising Pack getting a discount.

    Which would be good because I have the 2 million+ refined dilithium and my zen stipend for it. Just waiting at the moment for the market to start dipping again.

    I wish I could see people pushing pushing each other and stampedes on the sales in here too. Black Friday is my favorite day to see what humans would do on the event of total social failure.

    There will be no buying of stuff by me until D'Angelo and Rivera are gone and the XP system is repaired back into something resembling its previous state (i.e. working). Even my stipend will remain sitting there unused until that time.

    Sale? Makes no difference at this time.

    I always enjoy the videos on youtube from black Friday, people trampeling eachother to death to save a few pennies. they don't have stuff like that over where I live.

    even if cryptic slashed prices to 90% off i wouldnt buy a thing.
    a. im kdf so there is nothing to buy apart from the two new t6 ships

    You know, before DR I was interested by the not-so-new patrol escort. But hey, it's a T5, and it's going to be obsolete vs the T6 either ingame or to come. And it's using cannons, in the current meta, it's like using beams about 3years ago. Even worse, as you have some s*** narrow angle of fire and falloff.

    What's worse is it has made it to this side of the pond. I never saw such a pathetic site since the Cabbage Patch Dolls were first released. I know four year olds who behave better than the so called adults in these things. Even the old sales weren't as bad. NowI know it is going to happen again I know what day to not go out shopping.

    I have no problem with Commercialism , as much as I do, the whole hypocrisy behind Black Friday itself.

    On Thursday, people offer thanks for everything they have, then on Friday, they act like idiots, trample each other, and make shop keepers lives a living hell, just to get more TRIBBLE.
