Wouldent this be a great T6 sci ship to one up the current T5 intrepid?
I mean, look at it, this thing is beautiful and it keeps the starship lines going.

The Yorktown was a Zodiac class starship.

Looks like a kit bash between Intrepid & some STO assault cruiser bits. Looks so mainstream and boring.

Why would you make that a sci ship? It's obviously following in the Sovereign's footsteps.

The Yorktown was a Zodiac class starship.
    NCC-61137 was a Zodiac-class.

NCC-1717 was a Constitution-class; it had been refitted along the lines of the Enterprise, and was one of the ships that attempted to intercept the Whale Probe in STIV. It underwent extensive repairs at Earth Spacedock; when Kirk was court-martialed and busted down to Captain, it was hastily renamed Enterprise and re-registered as NCC-1701-A.

It basically looks like a Assault Cruiser with a secondary deflector on it...I don't think we really need it and definitely would never see it in STO.

First Off I like it, looks like a Sovereign and Voyager mash up, in a similar vein to the Guardian being an Ambassador/galaxy ish ship

BUT I think its so similar to the Sovereign, that probably would work better as an Alternate Skin for the Assault Cruiser, which I would probably buy should it be released

Got to say, I am kind of a fan of this design. It's hull is so smooth and clean; and it manages to look both sleek and graceful.

Frankly putting it in STO would ruin it, unless they made a new hull material to go with it; the ones in this game are far too heavy with the hull panelling and unnecessary detail.

Ok... what is everyone loving on the Jupiter for? That thing looks like a giant rounded box that reuses the Olympic necelles. As is, that ship is frickin' ugly as hell! Redesign it and change the necelles, and maybe it would look better and might fill in as a full Fed carrier. But right now... ugh...

Only one person even mentioned it. There are much better threads for ranting about the Jupiter (the 'Support the Typhoon and Jupiter thread' for example).

Well think about it. Once upon a time, somebody designed the modern bathtub and thought 'that looks great'; therefore, we can conclude that that shape must just appeal to some people. :P

I would love t see this design in the game in any form, even if just as a Sovereign alternate skin. I think she's a beauty and would fit well within STO mythos.
