We've been pounding away at this Elite for a while without much luck. Finally the guys completed it yesterday but Ryan forgot to record it.
Between that run and this one we must have tried around a dozen times before we where able to complete it again. this time the virtual cameras where rolling
Believe me this was not easy.

only slightly more though. it's very subtle you could miss it. :cool:
however i think that it would work better with single target attacks to cut down on the danger of spreading agro to much around.
Worked at least in the old HSE well.
Damn tac cubes seemed like they put up a better fight, than the queen herself.

Newb Question #1: How do you get the second skill bar on the right hand side of the screen?
Newb Question #2: How do you have an Intel power on your hud with a Scimidar? Is that a specialization?
Esc -> Rearrange HUD -> Click [New] button on the skill bar
Intel Fleet? Grind more specialization points.
As calamintha wrote, its the Intel Fleet II that you can get as your 18th spec point.

That's your business, not mine. I only found it ironic that the video included audio of Starfleet and Klingon tracks without either representing the mission force. I didn't bother watching the video past the first few seconds of the attack. Maybe a better sound track would help. I suggest, I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT.

You need 4 people in the 50k DPS range and a 5th who's a pure debuffer or tank to finish this.
So there are not many options here.
Sounds to me carriers and cims needs a balance pass (read: nerf) :cool:

You cant say the over-performance of a few ships is excusable because they're the only ones that can do a particular set of over-tuned stf's.
Aka: If you want to do hive elite, you need to buy c-store ships.

Nerf federation.
How is that possible? which ability? How many hull points do you have?
My main is an engineer but can't heal like that.
It's temporary hull from the Pilot Captain Specialization tree. The ability is "Attack Pattern Expertise". Whenever you hit an attack pattern, you gain some temp. hull that will take dmg before your actual hull does.
It's an ability anybody can get as low as level 52. Not exclusive to the ship or race.
This is why the queues are dead. I do not want to diminish your accomplishment, because I know coordination and fast thinking were required to succeed. 50k dps is an unreasonable, unforgiving, benchmark that has excluded so many ships and builds it's not even funny.
Elite difficulty = why bother.

Aux To Bat isn't used on the higher DPS builds. Non AuxToBat are capable of doing much higher DPS.
Cutting beam is a must for the 2pc which is an extremely powerful weapon drain resistance.
using FAW2+FAW3 instead of 2x FAW3 (with a2b) gives more dps? hard to believe tbh... and I also saw in the vid the guy uses Omega, wich blockes beta, so the team-dps reduces.
with marion, the drain resistance warp core, and an a2b setup theres no need for that borg drain resistance bonus anymore...
but okay, maybe Im totally wrong and you guys made accurate tests to find this stuff out.
It has Cannon Rapid Fire but no cannons...
Also has Advanced Fleet weapons... shouldnt those be Elite Fleet or Crafted?
