Aux To Bat isn't used on the higher DPS builds. Non AuxToBat are capable of doing much higher DPS.

Cutting beam is a must for the 2pc which is an extremely powerful weapon drain resistance.

using FAW2+FAW3 instead of 2x FAW3 (with a2b) gives more dps? hard to believe tbh... and I also saw in the vid the guy uses Omega, wich blockes beta, so the team-dps reduces.

with marion, the drain resistance warp core, and an a2b setup theres no need for that borg drain resistance bonus anymore...

but okay, maybe Im totally wrong and you guys made accurate tests to find this stuff out.

Think this is a build they use: http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/?build=therakez_2843
Got all info filled in, skills, specilization, traits & doffs (in notes).

It has Cannon Rapid Fire but no cannons...

Also has Advanced Fleet weapons... shouldnt those be Elite Fleet or Crafted?

it's a dummy power used for proccing inspirational leader and nothing else - better to get some use out of a power that can't otherwise be used than have a blank slot and one less power to trigger the trait
Like special weapons from other Star Trek games? Wondering if they can be replicated in STO even a little bit? Check this out: https://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1262277/a-mostly-comprehensive-guide-to-star-trek-videogame-special-weapons-and-their-sto-equivalents

    #LegalizeAwoo

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"

"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch."
"We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
    Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.

Why don't you actually research A2B - it's only saving grace today is it is free via doffing the B'Tran cluster.

On every other metric it fails compared to non-A2B set ups.

The Non-AtB builds have been tested a ton and far outperform the AtB Scimitars.

Most of the high DPS builds also don't use the Spire Drain Resist cores, they use the Hyper Charged from the Fleet Dil mine for the power boost. Upgraded to Epic you get a power boost to Shields, Engines, and Aux.

Only need 6 of the 7 Boff Tac Slots, use the 7th for an ability like C:RF to trigger Inspirational Leader and Improved Predictive Algorithms.

He'll upgrade his weapons eventually, that Skill Planner is of Porchsong's Scimitar, his top DPS with it so far is 93.5k DPS.

That's your business, not mine. I only found it ironic that the video included audio of Starfleet and Klingon tracks without either representing the mission force. I didn't bother watching the video past the first few seconds of the attack. Maybe a better sound track would help. I suggest, I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT.

    wiggle wiggle wiggle.

IIRC, one of the tracks was from Battlestar Galactica (TNS), so at least the carriers had an appropriate musical theme.
