I've been here so long I remember splashing in the ESD fountain.

I've been here so long my fleet mates feel sorry for me.

I've been here so long I remember when they finally allowed us to turn off sector space astrometrics... I was disoriented for the first week or so.

I've been here so long I remember when ground combat took twice as long, maybe longer.

I've been here so long I leveled almost exclusively on exploration clusters.

I've been here so long I earned my "Veteran" boff.

I've been here so long I had my 1000-day vet reward before it became an instant unlock for Lifetime accounts.

I've been here so long I've seen every version of the STFs.

I've been here so long I remember the first drop I got from my first attempt at an STF was a VR shield tech thingy. I can't even remember the names of them now...

I've been here so long the Omega Force office on DS9 was always packed with players shopping for gear or looking for teams.

I've been here so long my main source of EC was selling unpowered/powered alien artifacts on the exchange.

I've been here so long Ker'rat spawned everyone in the same spot, and huge brawls between KDF and Feds would break out as all the farmers legged it. Unless everyone got ganked by tric mines first. Good times.

I've been here (not) so long I remember the emergency powers changes, and Borg Spheres darting all over the place as a result. Still miss that.

I've been here so long I can remember when a fleet couldn't play a fleet action together.

Just take a gander at this video I shot about three weeks after launch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT7ojNTDiio&list=UUPlsKtkr2cKUBn1xZLa9fZg

Shout out to any of my old Starfleet Defenders fleetmates. I've been here so long I've forgotten your names!

    I've been here so long,

Real Captains didn't have a newfangled "Acadmy" to go to, we jumped in and fought Borg.

I can play the Air guitar.

I still have all these to convert.

I have a Del Taco shuttle.

I ran around and bought different versions of the game for unlocks.

I've been here so long I can tell you exactly where I was and what I was doing when I saw the first thread with "I want a T-5 Connie". Life felt so innocent before that moment....:P

Personally I think the ground combat was better that way. It's way too twitchy now but it'll never be able to approximate an actual shooter.

    I've been here so long:

...I remember seeing the very first batch of lock boxes hit holodeck and thinking 'aw **** here comes pwe'.

...have several characters who still have full sets of [borg] weps, maco and honor guard space sets earned the hard way

...remember DS9 was the place to be, not some orbiting mega mall.

...flew my Atrox through The Vault.

I partook in the 'Threadnaut', one of if not the first rage post on these forums.

I remember running for miles all over the original First City/Qo'noS.

I still kinda miss the first ship requisitions on the old ESD.

Of course I used to buy all of my gear, which at the time the best was purple Mk X, at K-7.

I remember when the Delta Flyer was craftable.

I played the original incarnation of the STFs ad nauseam with my fleet buddies, back when you would get a Borg set piece for each run. I remember when the Borg set was a 4-piece set too. Infected - Engines, The Cure - Deflector, Khitomer Accord - Shields, Assimilation (not an STF) for the Assimated Module. Which reminds me that I remember when STO had a story to it that started with you as an ensign at Vega Colony and wrapped with you as an admiral running STFs. *sigh*

I've been here so long I remember Cryptic telling us the Feds would not get our carriers....
I've been here so long I remember Cryptic telling us the Feds would not get cloaking devices...

I've been here so long I remember Cryptic fixing lack of KDF content by locking it so you needed a Fed of level 25 and started as a KDF at level 20 instead of needing a Fed of level 6.

I've been here so long I've deleted more characters than some people have ever played (At 10 now).

I've been here so long I remember getting free ship tokens to try out new ships as they came out.

I've been here so long, I remember counting down my days for each milestone and wanting to know what we were going to get for 1000 days.

I've been here so long, that I still fly away from random NPC ships in sector space so they don't drag me into a fight.

and I've been here so long, that all of the weapons on my main toon's ship all have [Borg] proc's.

    lol

Both of these things are true for me also.

I've been here so long I'm surprised no one has yet said:

I remember when we didn't have terror do me then we did, but now we don't again

I remember when archived post stole my name

Note: I haven't been around long enough for either, was just saying I'm surprised no one said them yet because I have been here long enough to remember people complaining about both.

I've been here so long I have a "Craptic" avatar image saved.

I've been here so long I remember when Atari put STO on sale a few weeks after launch.

I've been here to long I remember the forums burning to hotly that Atari took down that sale.

I've been here so long I remember when pre launch exclusive items were still exclusive.

I've been here so long I remember that Sulu actually left ESD for a short while.

I've been here so long that Tribble Farming used to be my main means of making money.

I've been here so long that the number of currencies shrank, then expanded beyond the original count.

I've been here so long that I got ripped off by the currency exchange.

I've been here so long I remember when STF gear was Mk. X and it was hard as hell to get.

I've been here so long that 2 hours on CGE was considered a good run.

I've been here so long that STFs have changed way too many times to count.

I've been here so long that STO went from 1.5 factions to 2.5 (KDF to a "full-ish" and Roms)

I've been here so long my away teams used to beam under the ground.
Cheers from Antonio Valerio Cortez III, Half-Celestial Archduke of the Free Marches Confederacy.
