Hasn't worked for me. I think I've tried every 'workaround' I've seen pop up in the forums, or anywhere. Pisses me off they're not even acknowledging it as a known issue, even though devs have asked for more examples. But I guess if it's not happening to 100% of the players 100% of the time, it's no priority.
If you really want this fixed take my advice: Report the bug again, adding the words "and it granted me 50,000 dilithium unexpectedly"
Yes, but those are design decisions. Not unaddressed bugs.
There's at least three significant bugs that are not even being mentioned in the 'known issues' - the Upgrade bug with Fleet Graviton Generators, the loadout system bug, and the lack of joystick functionality - which were introduced with DR, have been known on the forums for over a week, and yet.... NO news from the developers aside from the loadout bug thread getting requests for more info. There have been NO developer posts regarding the other two AT ALL.
Joystick/gamepad support was programmed in when they were working with MS for an XBOX port... when that died so did support for it. They probably only brought over the old code and with new patches/xpansions it bugged or killed how it works... and no one left to work on it since it is no longer being ported to the xbox. low priority unless it's an easy fix, guess it's not an easy fix since they havent addressed it.

And that's one way to get their attention. Damn Hilarious! But yeah, same issue, not even saving the way changing ship and changing back is working this time around. I have to wonder, what is in their code that changes it that they implemented in the game to remove the part of the patch that had addressed this issue? It's more than annoying as it prevents me from keeping anything close to speed in PVEs because I need to put everything back. To make matters more annoying it randomly pulls items to and from the tray. Sometimes I have nothing, those at least can be done well, the other times something has either replaced the original set button and I am deep in battle and only find out then... I've gotten very good at flying with straight up nonspecializing vessels again because of this.
oh, and I like that the first item I begin to build in DA rep, the one item in my VOY addled mind that would be perfect on my intrepid class, is the apparently bugged bio-neural gel pack. Crud.
Is the Shard still offline for anyone else? I see that it is still offline. I can understand a patch taking longer to complete that is scheduled, but I just am wondering if that is the issue, or if it is just my connection...
I dunno... saying instead they got 5 levels worth of XP instantly might get a faster response....
Ah I know one better. "It just automatically and apparently permanently unlocked every special lobi box and store ship for all my accounts. I can give anyone all the ships that they like without having to pay for it now."
the Shard is supposed to be offline for approx another 35 minutes (until 0930 PDT.) I'd guess it isn't online for anybody. Waiting is a pain, but something that can be endured.

I was hoping we were SUPPOSED to be able to edit thm, and not being able to reload their default costume was a mistake.
I wanted to alter his face a bit, but keep him in the Hierarchy uniform so he could be my own little 'Commander Strax'.

LOL, everyone's bringing up the old power tray/boff/gear/doff loadout bug. It's been around since long before DR and apparently isn't even a known issue.
I could list lots of other bugs in STO, but the loadout bug is by far the most annoying - it seriously hurts gameplay if uncorrected, takes a good 10 to 15 minutes to correct (sorry about that STF! It ended when you were dragging ST1 to the right slot), and occurs in all maps. Defera's list of bugs can be easily avoided (just don't go to defera!) and the trill spots are ignorable, but that power tray is pretty integral to the whole game.
It does have a solid workaround, though: don't purchase loadouts, don't use loadouts, don't buy more gear than you need for 1 loadout, and don't purchase multiple ships. Changing ships and gear and boffs seems to exacerbate the problem.
Whodathunk that saving information to be retrieved later would be such a big puzzle.
thx dude. much nicer, but doesn't really changes much about my comment. it's still superior to fleet upgrades while much more worthwile and still lacks the opportunity to.... u know ;D...
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
Sadly this patch didn't fix the crash on startup I experience on my T500 laptop.
This broke around S9. I would love to be able to play on my laptop again.
I must be tired.... I read that as "Hierarchy Bridge Officers are no longer edible."

Yeah.

If they're trying so hard to earn their money, you'd think they'd help people...oh, I don't know...actually ACCESS their cash store.
