Bit odd to see 2410 Harry in an Oddy uniform but for some reason wearing a 2370's Voyager badge.......
Nearly all of my Fed characters use the Alternate Future badge from AGT, I just like it the best and it fits well with virtually all the uniforms out there. Harry just happens to like the voyager badge and it reminds him of days long ago... when he was made to lick the dirt off of the heel of Janeway's boots.
I always liked Harry, it was a shame he got so little actual time in the show to develop. I also am perplexed as many about his rank. Harry Kim was the head of ships operation. More noteable people that filled this role were LTC Data and Chief Miles O'Brien (in Shadowplay he was referred to as Senior Chief, making him one of the highest enlisted ranks).
No offense, but wearing a badge that doesn't match the uniform is FAR from odd, when one considers the MANY strange uniform combos that players run around in.
Anyway, great to see Harry Kim in-game although have to admit, considering that he is now in the game, as one of the biggest Nova-class fans around, I remain disappointed that the Nova/Rhode Island model didn't receive any attention alongside the Intrepid.
They would need to narrow down the Odyssey Uniform as the primary one and get rid of all the priors. Thus doing so would make one uniform option on the FED side. I am only wearing:
Odyssey Uniform (Admiral) Black Top
Odyssey Lower Uniform (long ) - black
Odyssey Feet - Black
Odyssey Badge
or
Odyssey Uniform (Captain/Admiral) White Top
Odyssey Tactical Lower Uniform (without side pockets) black
Odyssey Tactical Feet (Boots) Black
Odyssey Badge
Harry Kim wearing a different badge from the Voyager Era, I am sure they had a reason for doing that or it was Oops!
As for Harry Kim role being added with the original actor that's splendid! He was one of my favorites in my already favorite Star Trek Series.
I fly Nova Class Retrofit, but I see it going to be a major part of Delta Rising. Best to get that ready or just base on my Intrepid Class specs for gear.

Risan Luxury Cruiser (Primary)
Intrepid Class (Secondary)
Nova Class (Third Option)
Oh, come on! With all that TRIBBLE Harry had to go through, including being eaten alive buy that Udine infection AND dying twice and hopping to another Voyager.........and not being able to play Captain Proton ( that was mean of Tom!! ).......he should be RUNNING Starfleet!
Don't forget waking up in Earth (with a bit of Time Travel) caused by alien race of unknown origin!
Captain Proton should be added too the story and do the entire mission in B&W. It's the shame they're not trying to get Tom Paris Actor involved.

I have a feeling they reached out to all of the main Voyager crew and got the ones willing to do it or willing to do it for a reasonable price. Personally, if they got McNeill in the game I'd like to see him as Locarno instead of Paris.
Interesting note, Locarno was in Voyager in a way. There was a photo of McNeill playing Locarno on Adm. Paris' desk, serving as a standin for a photo of Paris as a cadet.

It is in fact, odd, when Cryptic have only recently made a very impressive effort to give all the NPC's a unified uniform look. Its not a deal breaker but just strange when they've gone to such effort to enforce a standard look with uniforms/badges, etc
I liked Harry Kim too and I'm glad he finally got his promotion. Janeway dropped the ball on that one. If Picard can promote Wesley, surely she could have promoted Kim.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
You guys are going above and beyond with guest stars for Delta Rising. I'm beyond impressed! Garrett Wang reprising his role as Harry Kim will be a terrific addition to Star Trek Online. I look forward to the new missions and content. PWE/Cryptic STO, thanks and you have earned our premium support
I like that forum mods will delete posts that question design decisions created to keep people out of fun glitch areas like the new ESD shuttlebay, but leave racist posting comparing a chinese-american actor everyone loves to a north korean dictator because he "all looks same"

I still say Harry was treated unfairly, he could of been promoted and still of kept his post. Tom was demoted then promoted and he kept his post at the helm.
Only because there was noone else that could possibly fly the thing.

Having played through several of the Kobali missions and having interacted with Captain Kim a lot, I have to say that he's actually done really well.
He's intelligent, emotional, confident, obedient to the PC without being a follow monkey, his dialogue windows are phrased make it so that instead of the PC Admiral-in-name-only taking orders from a newbie Captain, it's the PC Admiral giving orders to the respectfully polite Captain, and he's actually pretty likeable and memorable, as oppose to the Harry Kim from Voyager who was most interesting when he was dying (and even then he was kind of annoying).
This is how you write a character, Cryptic.
He's like the POLAR opposite of Neelix. I find myself wanting to bring Harry Kim along on my exciting adventures, because he's actually fun and pretty cool. OTOH, being around Talaxians and being unable to shoot them is like pulling teeth. Seriously, why can't we side with Gaul and plug Neelix in the head? The Talaxians are incompetent and annoying.

I think they either posted it on the forum or twitter days ago already:

No matter if you loved them or hated them - it keeps it feeling Star Trek.
Nice job people1
