While I totally believe Starfleet would put spies in reflective gear (they just don't get espionage), I can't imagine why the Romulans are doing that.

Because the Romulan Spy in a shiny outfit thats getting everyone's attention? Thats the only Romulan that ISN'T a spy. Even Romulan distractions are deceptive.

You would not let Caitians wear the Risa glasses, you saying that for some odd reason you've decided that cats can wear glasses NOW?

Well, they're also saying that the costumes are available on all Captains and BOffs...which we know is technically a lie as we can't customize all BOffs...

So who knows. We'll find out on the 14th though.

I was just about to purchase the DR pack, but then realized that all 5 of my characters have full ship rosters of ships I definitely want to keep. $125 is quite a chunk to pay for game content (even if it is awesome). But I also have to pay another $25 for the ship slots just to use the DR pack. Include free ship slots and then we would have a complete package. :D

I want to buy the DR Pack, honestly, but am so annoyed by the pseudo-upgrade path offered by the T5U charade system that I wont. Maybe when the cash flow is so low you are hurting Cryptic, then you will listen..Offer us true T5 upgrades to T6 or no more cash flow for the new stuff. I know its a balancing act with your managers, but we can all chose to do business with companies that don't rip us off while promising to take care of us.....

These little gimmicks you keep adding to the DR pack just dont do the trick......give us what you know we need.

Sell me an true T6 upgrade token, anything, but don't make me fly those new beasties...

Honestly, I don't get the whole craze people are going through with the 5U and 6 ships. All the T6 ships have over the 5U is 1 BOff slot, a hybrid BOff station and the starship trait. It's not going to cripple you in a fight against a T6 ship if you use your T5U.

Back on topic. Change that line I quoted earlier, the uniform is NOT wearable on ALL BOffs. Yes, this is a sore point for me, I want full control over all my BOffs including what they look like and what they wear.

Trendy, found a typo/error that you might want to fix.

    Here's the offending line.

"This uniform is available to all captains and bridge officers from any faction throughout the game."

This line is false as it is NOT available to all bridge officers. It's not available on:
    Either Photonic Bridge Officers
    Breen Tactical Officer
    Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer
    Reman Tactical Officer
Reman Science Officer (from the Romulan featured series)
Romualn Bridge Officers (from the Embassy)

Two solutions to fix the typo. Change the line to "This Uniform is available to all captain and most bridge officers from any faction throughout the game." or allow all BOffs to be customizable. I prefer the second option, but that's just me.

This guy got a 100% but i would be blunt n say ur statement has a big fat lie in it

    Meh...

Uniforms are a nice touch, but it will take a lot more to get the latinum out of these hands.;) Here's what I would need to see, either faction (Federation, Klingon, Romulan) tier 6 level ship of each class (science, escort, crusier, & dreadnought), or faction ships of equal value for all factions. Thus, the Klingons and Romulans each get another 3 ships added in future updates, free of charge to the Delta Rising Operations pack, to match how many Federation ships are included in the pack, for those of us that play more often as secondary factions.

I doubt this will happen, but as it stands, I'm not interested in 2/3 of a pack I will not use as the Federation.:(

    Y'know...

    STO = Star Trek

STO is the "next-next generation" of the Prime Star Trek universe.

STO is... a game. Don't take it too personally, right? After all, the season 1 TNG uniforms were a major departure from the ST:TOS movie uniforms. (And they, in turn, were significantly different from the TOS/TAS uniforms.)

But these outfits... Good lord, they're horrible.

Which is why I can't complain, because at some point, I'll probably try them on my toons out of curiousity.

    But they're still horrid.

That is one silly looking klingon...

Anyways so instead of overusing the name "Dyson" they are overusing the name "Intelligence". Although, it is faaar better than naming everything after a vacuum cleaner.

It wasn't the vacuum cleaner that they were naming everything after, but rather a theoretical physicist and mathematician named Freeman Dyson, and the Sphere he suggested in his 1960 paper "Search for Artificial Stellar Sources of Infra-Red Radiation", published in the journal Science.

Since it is a Fed inspired ship, KDF and Romulans should get their own Dauntless inspired ships not the Dauntless if it was a lockbox ship. In fact, KDF and Romulans should get those Dauntless inspired ships in the C-Store due to a lack of KDF and Romulan Science ships.

I wouldn't call the Dauntless a sci ship, strictly. It has a very tac bent to it. Pure sci needs Com and LtC sci seats imo.
The Dauntless boff wise is pretty much a Karfi without the hanger bays.
So bring on the T6 Karfi ;D

It's glam-azing how much those glasses look like the atriciously ugly blades-style sunglasses that I continue to derive limitless pleasure by making fun of them.

    Because they're hideous.

Seriously doubt I will get this pack, even though its crammed full of stuff and you just keep adding.

Dropping a Hundred pounds on digital assets for a MMO simply does not compute.

I guess I will be doffing and repping and running for a few months to get the specific stuff I want for each toon.

Pack is looking good though if you have money to burn. (Hides his wallet as far away form the screen as possible)

I'm just going to say this.

The Intel ships, while perhaps nice, are almost too much off the design path that Cryptic has set up for the Federation (which was a good design style!).

It's like going from the Enterprise A straight to the Sovereign.

    These uniforms, my main comment?

"Oh, so Federation, Klingons, and Romulans all share the intelligence uniform style, bar perhaps colors." That seems in direct contradiction to the idea these "Intelligence" officers and ships are supposed to put forward. Why can't each group have a unique look? That'd raise the value. As it stands, I don't expect to buy the delta rising pack, ever. Too much stuff I don't care for and as it stands, I don't think I want to send another hundred cryptic's way. Might buy certain things individually though, after release.

Looking at it, it seems like they are trying to pack more and more stuff into this pack to get more people to buy it... Sure the romulan pack might have had 'more stuff', but it was mostly just like normal fed leveling ships.

You just got all the "+1" versions. This... seems like they are throwing a lot of different things into the pack.

Yep, this is the first item in the pack that I'd want it for. I like the build over time approach to this game rather than buy first and show off.

I am wondering what kind of warrior would be caught dead wearing that lol.

    Nope no sale.

Remember the theme of these uniforms. I serious doubt that KI would give a damn what the KDF thinks of their new threads.
