    Glad to see I'm not the only one having this problem, that means I'm not going crazy and the game doesn't hate me. Here's hoping for a fix soon.

    Was posted elsewhere, but figured I would post here that it seems the login server is down, no ETA, but they are throwing engineers at the thing as I type.

    now I am getting "unable to start game client : the operation completed successfully" , what are they playing at ?

    Okay this is a bit frustrating I get back from physio only to find that I can't get into STO because of an unable to authenticate message gah! probablya server issue somewhere.

    Everyone search arc on your start menu and use the "Repair Arc" thing. It fixes it after afew minutes.

    Arc's got nothing to do with the issue.
    it was offline the whole time, but the game started to work when I stated.
