Unable to authenticate

I try logging in to play STO and I get the "Unable to authenticate:" message, even though the servers are up and I have the correct username and password. Can someone help?

    Were all having that problem genius. look and see there are multiple posts about it.

    Are you sure the servers are really up? Sounds like this would happen if they are down.

    The game server is reportedly up, but the login server is down.
    We're playing the waiting game.

    Add one more to the 'unable to authenticate crowd' - and it's across all Cryptic MMO's including STO,CO, and NeverWinter.

    You guys really need a better ISP.

    Yup, i know tech issues are to be expected, but this is becoming a bit ridiculous.

    Wow....we've had some kind of issue every day since the patch last Thursday.....and this is just from adding the ability for us to upgrade our gear to mk13. Can only imagine how things are going to go when they do the full upgrade and "launch" Delta Rising....I'm picturing an explosion on the launch pad. :eek:

    Should we maybe start a betting pool on how many total minutes the servers will be down between this past weekend and the actual launch of DR?

    So yesterday the STO server crashed, and today the login server for all the games crashes, so what will happen tomorrow?

    And here I thought my account had been compromised, so I changed th password, after which I spent 10 minutes fighting invalid username or password errors, until I changed it back to the old one again.

    When are those eggheads at Craptic gonna realize that they have a problem and fix it?
