I'm enjoying scrolling through the submitted entries. A few have stood out for me as a player.
This really is the best 'space' KDF so far, in my humble opinion. Captures the essence of the KDF warrior ethos and channels our inner TOS with the iconic D7 (K't'inga) cruiser.
I really love the simplicity of this negative image. Second best KDF image overall, imho...but only because the third place capture (seen below) was ill timed.
This is a really good shot using KDF story arc material. However, the timing was awful, imho, and the misted breath mars the effort by partially clouding the face. It's a distraction and ruins the epic quality of an image for the ages. Overall I have this image as the second best I've seen in this thread, but that face cloud flaw drops it to third.
Great effort from everyone that didn't submit a federation image in this KDF contest! For the love of Qo'noS can we please stay on theme...:)[/QUOTE]
Would this one be better? Not an official entry!
Besides, the breath adds realism to the picture, after all it is freezing cold there!
From a distance it looks bad, but actually view it in full view, and it isn't as noticeable, or as bad looking really.
Love all the folks that disqualify themselves by, you know, not reading the contest rules. Makes the odds of winning better for everyone else. Thanks, guys!
Decided to give the contest a try, to me, someone who only really watched the shows / films for the fights, the bird of preys were always in groups, plus the Klingons were always powerful / hungry.
Our starbase just hit Tier 5, and I thought it was just beautiful so I decided to make this my submission. I really liked getting a BoP against the sunlight in the same image with a nice, back-lit Klingon insignia.
All of these look fantastic. I'm enjoying every one of them. I've never tried to take a screenshot, but I may try one day now that I have a decent computer and monitor.
Maybe next month.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.

BTW, here is the inspiration for that shot.
If you wanted a 'wings-down' shot without an enemy to shoot at, you can do that by activating a point defense console. Just note you'll get about 2-3 seconds to make your picture.
could not find help on how to post an image thx alot
You need to get your image onto a web address of some type first, because the image link must be an http address. If you log in via Steam, then you can post it via that (once your image is in the community, then it will also post a link at the top of the image). Otherwise, you could use something like Deviantart or any other image posting service that allows your image to be publicly available.

Decided to use this one from a while ago... I'm having serious issues finding any screenshots I've been taking this month. Not in default folder and not found anywhere on my HDD. Hmmm...

Hope you guys like it, it's my first submission.

The theme of this image is negotiations against a common foe. In the spirit of the latest round of story arcs.

Edit: Neither of these is my submission for this month. Check the next page for it.

I liked them both so I couldn't decide. No photoshop.
Maybe next month.
