RMC - will you kidding me?

I'm just mad at you.
You build again TRIBBLE, PWE / CRYPTIC.

The RMC was an exclusive collectors edition item and should never be otherwise given out.
Exactly the same you did with the Borg BO. That which at that time also an exclusive pre-order item from Amazon. At that time, you have seen only the fast money.

Can you not keep you to promise?
Typically only lie and cheat.

These are not the only two things that go wrong.
It is enough what you are doing here.
How about a law suit?

    It wasnt a preorder item it was a collectors edition item.

    Other mmo's have done the same thing; besides this game came out in 2010. Times change.

    Get over it, I've had it since day one and I have no problem at this point with them making it available for a limited time to others.

    Don't worry not too many freeloaders got one - except me of course. :D

    Seriously though, only a few hundred were allowed to claim the code. The vast majority of the playerbase was probably oblivious to it even being offered.

    I really hope the red matter capacitor becomes craftable in the near future, would be a great addition to my science ship. :-)

    Yeah, I claimed it and, whatever the other thing was with the other code. Looked at the RMC and, well <<shrug>> I think I have one ship it might be useful for.

    Lawsuit, got anything more funny? What are you going to sue them for? They own the item, they can do with it as they please. You show me a valid lawsuit and then maybe I'll take you more seriously.

    To the OP:

    Items given out with Pre-orders, Deluxe, Collectors Editions are sometimes made available to all players after a time that is negotiated with other companies. This may happen to all the special items, but it is not guaranteed for all of them.

    Threatening to sue Cryptic/PWE will probably cost you more that realize, but good luck with that.

    the collectors edition for all intents in purposes you find on ebay and amazon always come with a used code which makes the whole purpose of selling them a waste of effort on top of so rare its ridiculous. many people wanted the rmc, and now they have a chance to get it.
