Just wait until they start selling LTS perks on the z-store...or giving them away.
When did we get a z-store?
I know we have the Cryptic Store, or C-Store for short but I've never seen a z-store, what does it sell?
As for the main topic, it has been 4 years - we've all had our fun with our exclusive items / perks. I think it is time to open it up and share the fun with everyone.
Would be nice to see people at the Captains Table (despite it being a wasted zone) as well, that should be generally open to all now.
Was the OP supposed to be a poem? Would've been a lot funnier if it was. Just imagine it, the entitlement poem. We could even sell it to fund the popcorn machines that all of us on the forums use.
If they are going to give something away for such a darn short amount of time then at least make it possible to buy or craft, I'd pay seriously for that thing.
I keep seeing people talking about how they payed so much more for a special edition.. when that price included the game itself, which other people at the time also payed for.
$79.99 for CE, which included:
Star Trek Online game
Aluminum-box with hologram-cover
Three 10-day-guest-passes
Real World Wearable Metal Communicator Badge
Ingame-ship-item "Red Matter Capacitor"
Hardcover-art-book which also includes the manual and the game disc
Access to uniforms from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: The Next Generation
The game back then cost.. what was it? $14.99? (can't remember, correct me if I am wrong).
Which leaves $65 that is split between the other 7 items.. (for the fun of it lets say they are worth the same, normally real world items are worth more, but I am feeling generous)... so... $9.28 for each item.
So about 9 dollars worth of entitlement on a almost 5 year old item, that you are still able to claim on all characters, while people who got it from the code today can only claim it on one character in total.
"Please, Captain, not in front of the Klingons." Spock to Kirk, as Kirk is about to hug him.
Star Trek V: "The Final Frontier"
I'm just mad at you.
You build again TRIBBLE, PWE / CRYPTIC.
The RMC was an exclusive collectors edition item and should never be otherwise given out.
Exactly the same you did with the Borg BO. That which at that time also an exclusive pre-order item from Amazon. At that time, you have seen only the fast money.
Can you not keep you to promise?
Typically only lie and cheat.
These are not the only two things that go wrong.
It is enough what you are doing here.
How about a law suit?
Even the TARDIS is having trouble translating this ones english...
oh well off to the future i go, Come Along Pond!....
I'm so new that I don't even know if it is good or not. I'm just going to spam it because I blow.
Really, I don't understand what the big deal is...does it matter that others have it after what 5 years?
In MMOs, there are always going to be scumbags who obtain rare or powerful limited-time items and, after doing so, will fight tooth and nail to keep those items from ever coming back because they think nobody else should get to enjoy them. Because of their insecurities, they want to be perceived as special snowflakes, and they do so by lording over everyone else with their rare (but ultimately meaningless) no-longer-available item.
They are a cancer that infects every single MMO on the market.

Here's a special compensation gift, from me to you.
