well the sad thing is - the livestream does not really work either - last time I checked it stopped every 3-4 seconds and needed to load some more data ...

I've been here since Beta FFS (ok, with interruptions). Why the hell do i get this message?! Even my PWE Account is pretty old by now.
I just havent used the forum much.
So I set aside, a gift for myself, playing ST Online. I figure, Friday night and all day Saturday I can play.
I guess not.
I guess the game is "free to play" so I should not complain. Still, I have dropped real dollars into it. So much for leveling characters the rest of today. And the programmed downtime on a Friday night?
Not a great moment.
Star Trek Online is the first MMO that I have played since 1999 (yeah I was 2 years late to UO, but I was busy MUSHing) that has such poorly scheduled downtime. Other games do this stuff at the wee hours of the morning EASTERN TIME. Like at 5 am. Craptic? Nope...they do it at 10 am. So if you do happen to have a day off from work, you have to wait all morning to get a little game time in.
And another thing...get it together. I really don't want Delta Rising at all if this is how you implement it. A lot of us share that sentiment. If you can't do it right, then don't do it.
Here's a little something: at about 0100 your time (my time would be around 10AM) I did notice the server disconnect message glitching on and off screen, as if there was a line somewhere that was about go out.
What kind of time fluctuation, Trendy? Is the department of temporal investigations from the 25th century trying to eliminate some foundry missions someone made that is actually from a stranded future fleet officer who made their actual missions into stories for people to play?
Or has @tacomonster, or whatever that dev's handle is been experimenting with ways to bring samples of taco dishes from the future into our time and the Chroniton radiation screwed with the server?
The game's been comparatively stable for a while now. Back in the day there was an issue that brought it down literally every Sunday night for a month or so. Ah...those were the days. Predictability!

Sadly very limited stocks of give aways for folks this time round. Weird messages too from ARC about reasons why the code could not be redeemed from invalid to your not logged in?!? If that mean't Holo, lol how ironic?!?
We are currently aware of the server login issue that players are facing. We have our engineering team on it. I will keep you updated with more information regarding the status as I receive it.

We are looking at a time fluctuation that occurred around 11AM PDT today that resulted in the Holodeck server problems. We will update you shortly in regards to a fix.

Well, like any good Star Trek fan, with the game down I did the 'Explore Strange New Worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations' thing...

Is the bonus R&D event going to be extended by a day? Baysickly ... or sickbayly ... the whole evening of a prime time day in the weekend has been gone for all Europeans. Now it's even starting to affect the East Coasters in the USA and if it stays down another few hours, the whole USA will be affected in their prime time as well. So please, at least let us have another evening of R&D bonus.
