    just finished gorn - server not responding like forever - closed game client not it times out at character retrieval screen :mad:

    Just noticed the forums are in pacific time. So I guess intead...

    Happening here too East Coast US if it's something internet and not STO.

    If you've come to the forums to complain about the AFK system, it's known to be bugged at the moment.

    I just finished an STF run, and got a server not responding during map transit.
    After a minute of waiting for it to respond I did an ALT+F4, after that I got stuck at character retrieval and then a connection times out message

    My guess is the server crashed.

    same thing - loads ok but times out at character selection. DEVS! Are you there?!

    you think they would put up a message like... don't worry we are working on it..... or something.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    Yes Same Here I was on Ds9 and going to do some dilithium mining then 8 minutes later server disconnects and now it will not load characters

    server not responding, closed the game, re-launch, disconnecting every time because time out while retreving list of characters...

    It seems there's a large ddos attack on Playstation, Xbox And Twitch.
    Perhaps STO is also being targeted.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    at least its not only me. maybe they should replace the hamsters since it can get a little toasty in the servers
