    I finished both missions on tribble yesterday, and I enjoyed both of them.

    I especially like the mechanic you have in the "friends in unlikely places" mission. If you try to go too much in kill kill kill mode, there is a good chance you will make the mission longer or maybe (i dont think it would, but it would be interesting) fail the mission.

    Very Nice.

    And oh yeah, I loved having Neelix back, cannot wait for the VO work come DR release :)

    In the Reunion mission when collecting the various ingredients for the chef there are two characters who are identified by name tags over their heads as "Alix".

    In their dialog boxes one is Alix and the other is Maxin. Maxin needs to have his overhead name tag changed to reflect his true identity.

    Agree with others who have pointed out the problems with how the medical situation with Dexa is handled. She clearly has a trapped (and supposedly injured) leg, yet after the beam out she is simply stood by Neelix???:confused:

    As the dialog later tells us that she is undergoing medical treatment, it maybe best to simply have your ship do a site to site transport from under wreckage to the base infirmary, but not your ships medical bay otherwise you would need extra dialog later to explain her transfer back to the Talaxians after treatment so that people won't think that she is stuck on the ship somewhere.

    It also might be an idea to introduce the level cap increase before the rest of Delta Rising so that players don't have to spend time trying to find tasks to complete to grind between levels. I had to come all the way back to Earth Star Base and start doing dailies while waiting on cues for Borg Disconnected. That said I assume the Holodeck server will not be as lightly populated as Tribble was so this may not be an issue at launch.

    Is there any way to get lvl 51 faster tham 1ooo skill point at a time?
    doing those 2 mission 177000 time will take for ever

    I got almost a full segment of exp doing 20 DOff assignments, and almost 2 segments doing Borg Disconnected.

    You're going to have to supplement story missions with STFs and DOffing to level up.

    Reunion was fine (not really good, but fine), but I would have like more interaction between Neelix and Tuvok. So far they are quite limited.

    Impressions

    As a romulan, I cringed when Neelix said the Romulan where as nice and helpful as the federation. This is an alliance, Romulan are not out there to help everyone, they are there to help themselves first and foremost. While the Tal Shiar will crush anything to pursue this goal, the Republic is willing to help, but nothing more. And currently, they help the Talaxian to gain allies in this otherwise unknown region of space.

    I answered the cook I would like a bit of stew. I never get it. I expected a unique consumable with perhaps a special emote like the tonic. Except you throw up or you are feeling sick, instead of dancing.

    The "puzzle" are always the same, and in the end it start to be dull. The jumping puzzle was a nice addition, mostly because it's new. The "numbers" puzzle start to be overdone in STO.

    Also, the fedex part where you have to speak to everyone around for spices was boring. Not to mention out of place for an admiral (I don't remember Picard, Sisko or Janeway running around asking for ingredients for the cook, that's something they'll send someone else to do). I don't ask for more pewpew, but something less annoying than roaming around the base twice, and do meaningless tasks.


    Typo, gameplay...

    Typo when arriving on New Talax, and scanning radiation. Player science officer dialogue. Typo is in red.

    The station hailing circle is very small, and you basically have to hug the station to be able to call. You should increase it a little.

    The shield satellites where difficult to see IMO. Not impossible, and within a few minutes I was able to complete it, but they were not obvious.

    Neelix and other NPCs were blinking into an all white form throughout the episode.

    I didn't have any major complaints with this mission. I didn't have any issues with the puzzles and I actually liked having to find a way to get up to the crane. I really liked the look of this map a lot and the doors especially.

    I do however feel like it should have been two or even 3 missions. The beginning and end of the mission are nice and short but the group part of this mission, although nice, was incredibly long! It reminded me a lot of Of Bajor and that is a mission I have avoided like the plague after running it once. Again, it's not the mission itself, it's just the combined length. If the ground portion was a stand alone mission with its own rewards, it really wouldn't be so bad.

    The last part of this mission could definitely be extended dialog wise. Maxed Diplomacy could definitely come in handy here when dealing with the Malon. Although I have absolutely no interest in the current crafting system, i think raiding their dump sites for crafting materials would be an interesting way to farm crafting materials in EV suits with toxic protection.

    I too, do not have enough experience currently to unlock the next mission. I do hope that the experience for the missions is re-evaluated to ensure this doesn't happen once it goes live.

    While I enjoyed "Mindscape", "Reunion" was just about everything I was dreading. I will freely admit to being a bit biased going into it because I just cannot stand the Talaxians. With that said, here are my impressions.

    Opening with the Kazons, good so far. I am a bit confused as to how they managed to get so far away from their home turf given that they could not even make water when we last saw them. I am guessing that will be revealed in a story development yet to come. Speaking with Neelix over the comms was cringe inducing, but that is because I hate the character and not reflective of the writing. Fixing shield generators, ok, no problem there.

    Inside the base. Props to the environment team, the place looked great. It did have an infestation of giant rodents, and I was expecting to have the ship beam down a giant fog bomb to exterminate them… oh wait, those are Talaxians, easily confused. Disappointed I still could not exterminate them (Foundry mission idea). The "clickie" mini-missions reminded me of the worst parts of "Of Bajor". As a Starship Captain, or Vice Admiral if you so choose, these tasks should have been delegated to crew. Fixing consoles should just ask of me to signal for a repair team to beam down. Dealing with shift schedule drama was maddening and made no sense whatsoever why I would even get involved with that. There should be an option that says "Not my problem" and done.

    Arrival at New Talax. I was delighted to see the planet covered in Theta Radiation. I was thinking the next step would me to host a party for the Malons. Sadly this wasn’t the case, and the radiation was between me and the planet. I would like to have seen a little more interaction with the Malon, try to attempt diplomacy, even offer them warp waste scrubbers again, before having to blow them out of the stars.

    Admittedly this will probably be a mission I skip. The clickies do not make it appealing. Also, Talaxians, which I fully realize is my issue, and one my therapist does not understand, even after all these years.

    I’m Looking forward to checking out the next one.

    Is anyone else finding the Malon battleship to be throwing out incredible amounts of straight to hull damage? I went from 100% shields/hull to 100%shields/9%hull in 4 shots.

    I had no issues destroying it while taking very little damage in my Ambassador.

    It might be helpful to know what you were flying - what kind of resistances you're packing?

    I mean, if you were hypothetically in a T4 BoP - that'd be pretty obvious. Know what I mean?

    Although the introductory text for the mission mentions to head to Entaba, the summary text in the mission log does not.

    Given that many players don't bother to read all the text:p, I would recommend adding text to the relevant entry in the mission log instructing players to go to Entaba.

    Also, one of the 3 shield generators that we were required to repair before beaming down was very hard to find. I had to fly right up against the Asteroid base before I was able to interact with it

    I'm flying my wells, admittedly not the tankiest thing in the world, but it gets me through all other content without a problem.

    I agree that the Malon BB go through my Mirror Destroyer like knife through butter.

    Surely I can order crew from my ship to do the maintenance?

    Really tedious mission of just walking here and there. Dialog was good but not nearly good enough to compensate for an otherwise mind-wrenching boring mission.

    Constructive note: The thing that makes this type of mission especially irritating is that the NPCs walk so slow that even at normal walking pace it's easy to outpace them causing them to stop and wait for the player to come back. Maybe fixing this would make a mission like this less frustrating.

    I guess if someone was a big fan of Voyage (I myself am definitely not) they might really enjoy the dialog and seeing Neelix. Personally I was just begging for it to be over.

    The Neelix dialogue is spot-on and you got the look down perfectly. The only suggestion I have is that you MUST have Neelix hug Tuvok.

    Post a video, I would love to see what you did. It took me forever to knock down the battleship. I died at least 6 times or more. It would take down my shields and hull in just a few shots. I am running a tac in the tac escort retrofit. It literally took me 3 times dying before I could even get to the hull of the battleship. Once shields down and the hull got to about 70% then it seemed to be taken down like I would expect. Seemed a little excessive on the battleship shields though.

    Get the number to 1, I had same issue. When you use each pitch, ya, etc take it down to the lowest number, then do the next one, last make sure to use force to bring it all the way down. If you look at some of the earlier comments it may make more sense. But yes it should be explained differently, I was looking for an actual visual screen to show me.

    I'll echo what most have said here ...

    Reunion: Transporting Dexa uses Federation Transporter FX, even when playing a Klingon or Romulan character. Should be Faction Specific.

    Dexa transported next to Neelix, instead of Sickbay/Infirmary.

    I liked the fact that if you 'failed' on one of the consoles, you had to go and get a "repair kit" in order to fix the ballsup you juts made, I like the intonation and wording that makes you feel a little inadequate ... Well done! :D

    I didn't get my Spicy Talaxian Stew ... I want it !!!:mad: And I agree with a previous postee, it would be nice if it gave a unique consumable, or special emote. (Dare is suggest it creates a Talaxian Tribble?)

    Or maybe make it like the K-White? If eaten by a (eventually I assume?) Talaxian BoFF, they get a buff, if eaten by anyone else, it gives a de-buff?

    The Dialogue for the Malon Battle Ship to "leave" pops up before you've actually fought it.

    I didn't find it particularly difficult BTW, but (Thank Spock!) many of the Delta Quadrant enemies require new tactics, and a revision of BoFF powers.

    I really liked the mission.

    Not sure that Neelix would have said some of the things he did - but it will probably sound more like him when the real VO is actually added. No specifics, just when I read some things I was wondering would Neelix say it like that!

    After the lucky shot that the station where you're going to fix the station - so many of the Telaxians are standing about drinking!
    I think they should be doing something else after the shooting of the station and that there should be more debris about the place!

    Also, why do I, the one person that has not been there lead the group (myself, Neelix and Tuvok) for the final lap around the station? This just seems a weird thing to do!

    The only "major" bug I had was a sound glitch. Before rescuing that female Talaxian, I forget her name, the sound locked up, and was playing this annoying part over and over. I took my headset off on that one. Also, when she was supposed to be pinned, it didn't look it. On my screen, it looked like she was just sitting there, but Neelix said she was pinned under something. After helping her, I talked to Neelix (If I'm spelling it wrong, sorry, Only seen the first season of Voyager, I really need to catch the rest!!!) and he was all disfigured, and there was no background. After about 5-7 seconds, everything started loading correctly, and quickly. Other than that, I didn't expect any other bug from this mission. Helping them to their new homework ran rather smooth.

    Here's my feedback for the Reunion mission

    Mysterious Passenger
    - Gravity Well seems to have little to no effect on Kazon ships
    - After "Hail Asteroid Base", the dialog with Neelix is too lengthy & wordy, but then again, Neelix always was a jabber mouth

    Preparations
    - Cut scene at transporter pad; no dialog audio, only dialog text
    - After talking to Neelix, he is not walking but rather appears to be on a conveyor belt, which would be a nice effect if there actually was a conveyor belt.
    - After Operations Bay explosion & Neelix says "The operations bay? Dexa was in there.", Neelix should run rather than jog since he should be in a hurry to get there.
    - "Repair Damaged Equipment" 2nd popup & dialog, "Several of our systems are malfunctioning." is redundant & clumsy. Neelix already said this in the previous popup & dialog when he says" Several of our systems were damaged in the attack." It needs to be reworded.
    - Once "Engineering Console Repair" is complete, tricorder scan indicates & points to the "Communications Console Repair" accessible via the turbolift on the upper level, rather than the next nearest damaged equipment & mission objective, which is the "Damaged Crane". Even when standing right next to the "Damaged Crane", a tricorder scan still points to the "Communications Console Repair" objective.
    - After "Communications Console Repair", tricorder scan indicates nothing & does not point to the next mission objective, which is "Damaged Crane", if not repaired already.
    -After completing "Repair Damaged Equipment" mission objectives & returning to speak with Neelix, Dexa is now gone, presumably with the doctors. I'm not sure if this is what was intended.
    -After Neelix asks, "Would you care to accompany me?", he does not lead the way but rather follows you. Neelix should lead the way, after all, I've never been to the Talax colony before, have just met Neelix & I should not know who Neelix needs to see & speak with or where to go.
    Also, tricorder scan gives no indication of direction although locations appear on map.
    - After speaking with Foreman Kalax, there is no tricorder scan direction indication to find Menex yet his location is clearly shown on the map.
    - Same behavior when finding Oxil
    - Same behavior when finding Drexa
    - Same behavior for "Help Astrometric Scientist"
    - "Help Astrometric Scientist" puzzle is confusing but I eventually figured it out & a visual would help
    - I did not get the Chef tasks on my play throughs so maybe I'll need to replay the mission
    - This portion of the overall Reunion mission is tedious & not in keeping with what a Vice Admiral would do in this situation. These tasks would be assigned to an officer to handle. Perhaps you should consider revising this section into doff assignments.

    Setting Off
    - I was able to fly my ship beyond the edge of the visible area of the space map at the top & bottom, sides were fine. Map edge boundaries need to be adjusted or redefined.

    What a Waste
    - "Contact Malon"
    - Dialog popup does not stay up long enough to select options or respond. You have to chase Malon ships.
    - Malon are way too strong compared to canon species although maybe they have acquired new technology.

    General
    - Add more harvestable R&D materials
    - "Hail Delta Quadrant Command"
    - In dialog with Commander Ethan Burgess, he refers to the Malon as the "Malons". In canon, they are never referred to as the "Malons" only as the "Malon".

    Hello all. im having trouble with Reunion mission...alll goes well until i meet the talaxian astrometric scientist. no matter what i do i cant go below 5km...please help

    I think the astrometrics part is unnecessary and may have some problems... I followed the recommendations and tried to lower the values every part but ended up increasing the value across the board :confused:

    Math is not everybody's strong point and the astrometrics part should be able to default so people can use the walk through.

    STO is a fun game but like I said not everybody is smart enough to understand the puzzles.
