I have NO IDEA how many hours I've played. But I preordered a lifer during BETA.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.
I could have had a typo as I went though it pretty fast without any double checking.
If you started during F2P and F2P started on Jan. 17, 2012, which means F2P has been out 834 days
which means you have played STO on average for 11 hours, 16 minutes and 54 seconds every day!
IT IS INSANE!!!
Almost every time I log into any of my 4 HoBo toons - Zelda is online! I would say a min of 9hrs a day from launch of F2P and maybe as much as 16hrs some days.
While Zelda's dedication to Hobo and the KDF is admirable - I often worry about his sanity after almost 10,000 hrs in game!
EDIT: It only says 65 days or so. Good chance it isn't accurate.
I also have 6 alts and I've deleted around 12 chars over the last few years. Your guess is as good as mine.

Well okay i got 4481 h played on all my 12 chars combined. (all 50s, playing since end of 2012)
I have 6 feds [2984 h], 3 fed roms [712 h], 1 kdf [489 h] and 2 kdf roms [296 h].
Those are 6 male [1680 h], 6 female [2801 h] chars and 4 engs [1258 h], 5 tacs [2610 h] and 3 scis [613 h].
Was fun doing this whole statistics thing.
Most played char is my fed eng with 884 h, least played is my fed rom eng with 7 hours which is just for training other fed rom boffs
I knew women would be more then men, i knew feds would be much more then kdf / rom-anything, I kew my most played char would be my fed eng, but it was a bit surprising to see my tac hours still more than double my eng hours, after mainly playing eng for like a year now.
Well thx for the nice opportunity this thread provided.
if you take away all the month i couldnt play you get to about 10h a day, including them leaves 7h a day since i started playing.
Most "fun" thing is even when i completely stop playing till end of 2015, by then i would still have an average playtime of 4h a day since starting to play.
which means you have played STO on average for 11 hours, 16 minutes and 54 seconds every day!
No offense intended, but what do u do for living zelda? with 11 hours of gamming per day+7/8 hs of sleep needed for a healthy life, there is no room for work or anything else lol

I don't particularly feel like doing /played musical chairs on all of my characters right now, but my main character has been on active duty for 140 days, 7 hours, 32 minutes, 25 seconds. My sub is 1,244 days old.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
Why would any mentally sound person 1. Admit to to spending that much time playing a computer game and 2. Try to "beat" that time, or admit to it? I see absolutely nothing here to be proud of in the slightest.
Well nab... Your opinion generally tends to deviate from almost everyone elses in some way, so I would not be bothered too much by it...
That's just the way you are, and isn't anything to be ashamed of...
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

I think I invested wisely in my LTS back in open beta
How are you guys doing that? Just 4 hours in sto makes me lose my mind.
im a casual player which accounts for almost a month in total play time in the 3 years ive been at this game, others been around since, over a years play time under the belt? likely just an unhealthy obsession, no shower, getting up get on the computer, play until the end of the play, no shower, next day no shower, play until end of day, no shower and next day, starting to smell.. finally on day 5, peels him or herself off the chair to get to the shower for a few minutes, the withdrawl is starting to kill the monster and it must get back to the computer and the game :P. who knows .
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

Why? Because I am partially blind, I have only partial use of one hand (but every keybind I can possibly think of) and have a seizure disorder that prevents me from wandering too far from my house without risking "flopping around" on the sidewalk to the point that someone calls and has me (unnecessarily) taken to a hospital emergency room in an ambulance that has not been able to go out of service long enough for a thorough cleaning after having just tranported a homeless man with lice and who hasn't washed his clothes or bathed in a year, oh the aroma!) and I try to get my vitamin D by sitting on my patio with my laptop with a full size keyboard plugged into it.
Thank goodeness I found some Mormon kid who is nice enough to occasionally pick-up my groceries while trying to refuse the money I insist he take for his time and effort.
I want no sympathy and am not complaining. I spend hours and hours playing STO and still consider myself mentally sound. (but still only medicore at pvp for some reason)

3 to 4 hours almost every evening for 4 years adds up.
Oddly enough, I decided to finally take a break from STO, so to gather that information in my post, after 6 weeks off I've had to interrupt my hiatus... and I was adamant I was going to hold out for the expansion - but first excuse

STO kept me sane during the last 2 years of 4 years of unemployment... Something to pass my day, and other opinions than my own...
